This hotel is located 3 km from Pisa Airport and only a few paces from the city's commercial centre and opposite Cisanello Hospital, a few 100 m from the Palazzo dei Congressi and the railway station, and just 2 km from the famous Piazza dei Miracoli. The city centre, with the Leaning Tower of Pisa , is 4 km away from the hotel. Livorno is a 30-minute drive away.

Facility

90 non-smoking rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Very comfortable modern hotel

    We recently spent one night at this hotel before flying back home the next day. We were greeted on reception by Francesco who could not do enough for us , his attitude was amazing and soon our taxi was ordered for the morning and he answered our many questions . There is a cafe bar just outside reception and we were treated to a coffee here whilst our room was made ready. The young man In the cafe was also extremely friendly . The hotel itself is very modern, our room looked like it had recently been refurbished. It was quite large with an equally large en suite.The bed was quite firm with plenty of pillows available. My only criticism of this room was that the door did not seem to insulate the room from the sounds in the corridor resulting in noises being heard in the room from people in the corridor. On the whole however I heartily recomend this hotel .

    I stayed at Hotel Ranieri due to a health issue. A true four-star hotel. Its proximity to the hospital is very convenient, and the hotel offers special treatment for guests staying for medical reasons. Well connected to the center of Pisa. Excellent cleanliness and staff attentive to every detail.

    We stayed overnight because of a family celebration in the area. The hotel offers great value with small but modern rooms and a good restaurant. Laura B, Altro at Hotel San Ranieri, responded to this review Dear guest, thank you for staying at the Hotel San Ranieri in Pisa. I hope you enjoyed our fine cuisine, prepared by our chefs using genuine local products and served in the Squisitia restaurant or in the Enoteca dining room, which offers an exclusive wine list from the Pisan hills. The hotel also offers its guests a gym with Technogym equipment and an outdoor swimming pool on the hotel terrace with a whirlpool and relaxing waterfalls. The swimming pool is open during the summer months when the weather is mild and is not available in bad weather or during the cold season as it is not heated.     Amazing staff and convenient location

    We knew our plane would land late in Pisa, Italy so we wanted to stay at a hotel that seemed to operate on a 24 hour basis. We chose Hotel San Ranieri based on reviews and feedback and we're happy to report that we made the right choice. My favorite thing about this place was the great service and how kind the staff was here. The room itself fit our needs and made us feel comfortable for our first stay for our Italy trip. This location is also great because it's also next to a bus stop which can take you to the Pisa Central train station or main Piazza area with the Leaning tower. If you're in a rush, the staff can also call you a taxi if you're okay with the pricier cost.

    Nice hotel but misleading re pool offering

    The hotel itself and team were lovely. A good 15 mins in a cab from the tower but a good room and excellent food. Rating given is that we felt misled and let down. We booked a hotel with a pool as we have an 8 year old and knew it would be very hot days. The hotel charge an extra 10 euro per person for a 3 hour slot to use the pool though which should have been made clear on booking. Also after paying we found that although we booked others were not leaving after their time slot so there were no beds or room in the pool. Max beds is 25 and max in pool is 17. Consequently we spoke to reception who said they did not police or monitor the pool and suggested we find a space onThe other side of the floor and wait (not practical as cannot see our daughter should she have been able to swim from the other side). We arranged a refund but feel very let down. Sad as the food and team were lovely but dont book expecting to use a pool without paying more or with limited a chance of availability.
