  I would not recommend.

  I have not posted such a negative review before but this hotel deserves it. We stayed at this hotel as part of a Titan tour. Not up to Titan standards and I complained when I got back. Tiny room, no fridge or tea making facilities. Shared outside area with privacy. Not impressed with the food, one meal was vile with drinks being constantly pushed. No choice but to eat there as it's out of the way.

  Lack of security and complete lack of responsibility towards guests

  During my stay at Hotel Villa Cappugi from 20 to 21 July 2026, EUR 3,500 in cash was stolen from my hotel room. I have filed an official theft report with the police regarding this incident. Until the official investigation is completed, I will not claim that any specific member of the hotel staff or management committed the theft. However, I can make a clear assessment of the hotel’s own conduct after I reported what had happened.Despite my repeated requests via Booking.com, WhatsApp, and email to preserve CCTV recordings, electronic room access logs, and other possible evidence, the hotel completely ignored my messages for an entire week. Only after I sent an official registered letter addressed to the hotel management did the hotel respond for the first time. However, instead of conducting an internal investigation or attempting to assist its guest, the hotel chose to send a letter from a lawyer refusing to cooperate.In my opinion, such behaviour is completely inconsistent with normal standards of the hospitality industry. Even if the hotel management considered my allegations unfounded, a responsible hotel should have immediately preserved all possible evidence and cooperated in establishing the truth. Instead, I experienced a complete lack of assistance, a lack of any genuine interest in clarifying the circumstances, and an effective refusal to cooperate.I hope that the police investigation will establish who exactly committed the theft. However, it is already clear that the hotel’s response after being informed of a serious criminal incident was extremely disappointing and does not correspond to the level of responsibility expected from a hospitality establishment.I strongly do not recommend this hotel to travellers who value the security of their belongings and expect support from hotel management in the event of serious problems.

  we had a tiny room with one chair not big enough to sit on ,the food was in the resturant next door the food was terrible on the evening no kettle no tea or coffee in the room only 4 star because of the spa etc

  When we arrived in the room, the safe didn’t work, the fridge was warm, the shower doors didn’t close, the shower trap didn’t fit, no wardrobe or draw space or tea coffee facilities. But the worst thing is the food. Complained on the first night, no improvement see picture of next nights meal 3 pieces of chicken and 8 cubes of potato and no veg see photo.

  Lovely hotel, badly let down by management

  Despite the lovely hotel building, beautiful setting, this hotel is let down badly by the management. A little away from the town of Pistoia. Vastly overbooked, terribly unprepared, inadequately providing for the number and type of guests. Eager to book numbers but totally unprepared, in terms of the provisions of food and drinks. Unprofessionally run, inadequately staffed. We were asked to reuse the cutlery used for starters for the main course. Such a terrible shame, beautiful premises, lovely rooms, but our safe didn’t work. The housekeeping was very good, but the bar was run by an unprofessional staff. Breakfast was varied and reasonably provided, but the evening meal for our group of 41, was mostly poor, however the starters of various salad platters were superb. Main meal was a choice of two meals, one not so bad and another quite pathetic, the meat on some plates was less than adequate, just a couple of wafer thin slices of ham wrongly considered as ‘pork slices’. Rather embarrassing. Premises 4 star for sure, service hardly 2. They were supposed to have provided us with a shuttle to take us to town, sadly no such provision for those without their own transport. Very disappointing.
