    Great location, however the staff were very rude!

    We were on a Trip A Deal, time was against us, and we desperately required our laundry.We enquired at reception and was advised to leave our washing & laundry form on the bed.We arrived back after a day touring to find the laundry bags had been lifted off the bed to have our bed made.When we enquired at reception, we were bluntly told that housekeeping has gone home.Next day we were leaving for a cruise & needed washing of clothes.

    If you want a good night's sleep - avoid this hotel! Beds and towels are cheap and old.

    Unfortunately I had the worst night sleep I've ever had in this hotel. Well to be accurate, I got no sleep at all! They have spent money on doing up their hotel and the lobby and restaurant looks stunning, and the breakfast was great. However, they have not given the same attention to detail to their rooms. There was a smell that was like drains in the room which was horrible.There is a dangerous shelf with a metal railings hanging above the place you put a suitcase which my partner hit his head on the sharp corner... not a clever decision to put it there. The paintwork in our room was unfinished, the towels were threadbare, and the mattress was truly terrible - so cheap and so uncomfortable I was in great pain. I went to complain at 2am and was taken to another empty room to give me a pillow from the bed there - I asked if I could sleep in that room instead but I was told I wasn't allowed to. We had a second night there, so as I could not sleep due to the cheap old mattress, I spent the night searching for another hotel to stay in. It then took two more days to get the hotel to refund me for the second night and lots of phone calls as they had to take it up with the hotel owner Aloisi who was on holiday. They should have refunded me for the first night too really as I was treated terribly. Even the nice Receptionist on the desk in the morning -Maurizio said they didn't get it right, and I should have been offered another room. So no personal service received there at all. It would have been nice to have heard from Aloisi himself with an apology.

    Watch out ! This hotel is a little bit particular…Actually, when you arrive at the hotel, you have two options.The first one : you can chose a room with a view on the petrol station.The smell and the noise are included in the room rate and the patrol station is open 24 hours a day…Should you prefer a room on the other side, you will have a view on a building in construction !So you will be awake by the workers and you will start your day at the same time as them (the noise is, of course, also included in the room rate).Watch out : the building in construction could be another petrol station which means that next year you will have only one option !Unfortunately, there is no more option and you shouldn’t hope for any apologies from the so unpleasant staff…

    The rooms are okay, the menu in the restaurant is limited but the quality is good and we asked twice for something that was not on the menu and they made it for us!! The people are nice.The location of the hotel is okay, but it is 1/2 hour walk to the city center. The have bicycles.     8 of us stayed the one night after arriving late.Very nice reception staff who booked us in & even opened the bar just so we could get a drink.Pleasant small rooms are ok for a short stay. Nice breakfast & easy check out.
