  Hotel Executive Inn Brindisi

  We've just completed a stay at the Hotel Executive Inn, and we couldn't be happier that we chose this hotel for our first nights in Puglia! Our #1 criteria for picking a hotel is cleanliness, and Hotel Executive lived up to its high rating. Our room (#42) was located towards the back of the building and was extremely quiet--another plus for those who have a hard time sleeping when on the road. The hotel is situated steps away from the shops and restaurants along Corso Roma and Corso Umberto--we didn't have a car, so the location couldn't have been more convenient. The breakfast was a nice surprise with a good selection of local fruits, veggies, cold cuts, eggs, tarts and cheeses...a nice way to start the day! We want to give a special "shout out" to Gabriella at the front desk who helped us with a booking issue and had a wealth of information about the area. After a long journey, she helped us feel at home immediately! By the way, her recommendation of Spilusi for a late dinner was spot on, and the restaurant was only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel.If you're looking for a huge hotel with an over-the-top grand entry lobby, this isn't the property for you. But if you want a small, clean, boutique hotel, I don't think you'll do better than staying at the Hotel Executive Inn!   Wonderful short break at great value hotel with outstanding front of house staff.

  The hotel’s in a really central location ,just off one of the main shopping streets, a 15 minute walk from the station and a very short stroll to the port area.The reception area is fresh, modern and stylish and felt very comfortable and welcoming . We were 3 adults sharing a room ( saving a bit of money!) and whilst not huge it was perfectly adequate. Beds ( and sofa bed) were on the firm side ,very comfortable and good quality bed linen. Bathroom was spacious and the shower wos great.Room where breakfast was served felt rather small and we had to wait for a table one morning but this wasn’t a particular problem. Fantastic choice of food on offer, hot and cold, lots of fresh fruit, pastries, breads ,cheeses etc, good quality fruit juices ,even champagne(well ,prosecco)and a range of hot drinks.Saving the best to last . A massive shout out for the staff on reception who were exceptional .Gabriella who welcomed us on our first night was charming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Federico was on duty the following days and he helped with so much; checking train times (there’d been a national strike), suggesting and recommending places to visit ,phoning to ensure places were open etc. He even managed to get us a table at a restaurant that was showing as fully booked on the website and arranged for them to cook a particular dish that wasn’t on their menu. We felt like royalty!!!   Great hotel and genuine experience

  Absolutely excellent hotel and staff. Very professional, bilingual, and friendly staff at all levels from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast room. I was there for a conference in Lecce (which was an easy 30 minute train ride from Brindisi). This hotel is an easy 10 minute walk to the train station in Brindisi and you can get around very easily by train to Lecce, Polignano a Mare, Bari, and all along the Puglia coast. My kids and wife enjoyed their stay and the staff helped us very much when we had to go to an urgent care center for one of my kids, our Italian language skills are weak, and the bilingual staff helped us very much when we had to go to the urgent care center (since the medical staff really didn't speak English). Very much appreciated how helpful and friendly they were, even when we tried our best to speak Italian. Just a great trip! The rooms were a bit small but the hotel was super clean and comfortable, very affordable, and better than probably most hotels. It was centrally located so you could walk to many things or take the local bus easily to get to the beach in a few minutes. We were also there the first and second week of September during their festival for the patron Saints of Brindisi, so there was a great festival the second weekend and my kids had a great time. My grandparents were Sicilian and it was just a really good genuine cultural experience for my kids to have a chance to better understand their heritage since the town isn't flooded with foreign tourists. We enjoyed interacting with the Italian families that were there as a last vacation before their kids' school started for the fall. Kind of off the beaten path and very genuine. Highly recommend.
