Excellent place to stay

Excellent place to stay. Large, very equipped room really comfortable bed. It's in the heart of the town and right next door to the castle. Really friendly staff, even printed our boarding passes for us and let us check out very late on our last day as our flight was later that evening. Lovely breakfast, the nicest croissants EVER! Can't recommend this place enough. Very centre to all the restaurants and cafe's. Made our holiday!!?

VERY POOR cleaning service and no reception on sunday

We stayed here for a whole week. The room is nice and the breakfast even marvelous. But we had to go to the reception the first day already to ask for shower gel. Also on day 4 when the toilet paper was finished, it was not replacef by the cleaning service. I had to go to the reception again to ask for toilet paper but as it was a sunday, i discovered there was NO ONE AT THE RECEPTION DESK. An Italian guest told me that I had to wait till monday morning. I checked the public toilets to steal some paper, :-(

Central position and beautifully clean

Good position at the historic centre of Carovigno. Quite central to a lot of the places of interest so great as a base. Parking fine at this time of year (October) but would be very difficult in high season. The hotel is attached to the castle very pretty building, beautifully and sympathetically renovated. Comfortable bed and pillows, extra pillows and blankets supplied. Plenty of wardrobe space and our room had a little dressing area. Although there was only 2 of us the room could sleep 5. Very good value hotel. Gianni was very friendly and helpful explaining the different places to visit. The housekeeper was excellent, the room was beautifully clean and kept clean during our visit.Because it’s in the centre of the town there is no pool and a smallish outside space it’s not a hotel you’d want to spend all day in but perfect as a base.Breakfast was good value at €6.50 each, unlimited continental buffet with cereals, fruit, toast & butter/jam etc, large selection of homemade cakes and freshly baked croissants as well as hard boiled eggs and cold meats. 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the closest beach at Torre Santa Sabina (a lovely little seaside town). 50 minutes to Lecce and around an hour from Monopoli. Overall a lovely hotel Thank you Gianni and the rest of the team!

We have just spent a week at this hotel and we throughly enjoyed it. Our room was large with a quirky twist. Very clean hotel and a wonderful breakfast. Laid back atmosphere but everything was perfect. Good situation for exploring Puglia. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
