Location

Set in the financial district of Bari, the contemporary hotel is conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from Bari Centrale railway station.     Stylish and modern with ample parking for visitors with cars. Located too far from the historic area to walk there. The room was large and equipped with several plugs. There was a multiplug cube on one nightstand but our 6 ft charging cable couldn’t reach the other side so we had to place the cube in the middle of the bed for us both to charge phones. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a sliding frosted glass door and one wall of the shower was also glass so turning on the bathroom light at night lights up the whole room- an annoyance. But the bathroom was good sized with ample counter space. Shower had good water pressure. The main problem we experienced was that the AC wouldn’t work. We advised the desk personnel and were told they would take care of it but our room was even hotter when we returned from an outing. Then we were told to open the window- which was a tiny rectangle totally covered by the heavy curtains which were anchored on that side. Our room faced west so keeping the curtains closed was the only way to keep the room from becoming an oven. Had we not already completely unpacked I would have insisted we be moved to another room. Very disappointed with the hotel in this situation. We had to leave very early before breakfast to go to the airport so can’t comment on the breakfast they offer but they did pack us a breakfast to take with us. Had it not been for the AC situation we would have recommended the hotel to others who don’t mind driving or taking a taxi to the historic center

    A lovely hotel. Very comfortable with all important parking. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming. It is in a quiet residential location but about one hours walk from the Old Town. However, there is a bus ( no 27) that would get you most of the way. Old Town definitely worth visiting.     Hi Hotel is superb - no ifs or buts.The rooms are generous in size,the facilities first rate,the housekeeping faultless and the breakfast five stars.The airconditioning was perfect despite Bari's high temperatures,wifi strong and all staff helpful.Don't be put off by the slightly out of town location as there are bus stops nearby and it is only a 20 euro cab fare to the town centre.The surrounding area is lovely with shops,restaurants and supermarkets no more than a 15 minute walk away.If going to fabulous Bari,make this your first choice of hotel.

    Our room was far too warm, the AC did not cool the room off. It appeared to be set at 74f which is too warm for sleeping. There was a small, almost hidden window that opened, this thankfully helped some but then we had to deal with road noise. There was also noticeable noise from other rooms at night to include doors opening and closing. The bed was firm but comfortable. The pillows were nice.Shower: A true pet peeve of mine is when there is no shelf for personal items and you have to place your shampoo etc on the floor when taking a shower.Breakfast: You can make your own juice but the pieces that were pre-cut did not appear fresh.They offered a coffee to go section.
