    My stay at Hotel Delfino in Taranto was absolutely wonderful and truly unforgettable. From the very first moment, I felt incredibly welcomed and genuinely cared for.A huge thank you to the manager for the professionalism, kindness, and for creating such a warm and special atmosphere. The entire restaurant team was amazing — always smiling, attentive, friendly, and so welcoming. Every meal was a pleasure not only because of the delicious food, but also thanks to the exceptional service and positive energy.Special thanks as well to the lady at the reception, who was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming from the very beginning. She made me feel truly comfortable, relaxed, and at home throughout my stay.This hotel is made special by the wonderful people who work there. Thank you to the entire team for such a beautiful experience. I will gladly come back and highly recommend Hotel Delfino to everyone! ❤️

    We stayed in one of the suites well worth the extra. Plenty of space. Two balconies, large bathroom with seperate toilet and lounge area. The hotel is a modest walk to the castle, cathedral and shopping area. Staff were very friendly especially in the restaurant. The lady manager in the evenings was especially helpful and pleasant. The pool was kept very clean as was the area around it. It would have been nice if the area beyond the pool could have been cleared so that there was access to the sea. An enjoyable 9 day stay.

    Warm welcome, but room did not meer expectations

    We had booked our stay after seeing truly beautiful photos online, and our expectations were high. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the front desk by exceptionally friendly staff, who made us feel genuinely welcome. Despite the bar already being closed, they kindly allowed us to order a drink, as we had arrived quite late a thoughtful gesture we greatly appreciated.However, the moment we entered our room, the experience shifted. The décor and atmosphere felt more like stepping into my 92-year-old grandmother’s living room than the modern and elegant style portrayed in the photos. Unfortunately, this was a significant disappointment and did not reflect what had been advertised on the website.While the service was excellent, the mismatch between the online presentation and the actual room left us unsatisfied with our stay.

    I am surprised this hotel does not score higher for the staff alone.Every member of staff are incredibly friendly and can't do enough for you; from the handyman who sorted a faulty room key in minutes( most likely caused by the magnet on my husband's phone); all reception ( especially Alexandrio) and the staff at breakfast and evening meals. The breakfast exceeded expectations: cooked good, 6 different juices, cold meats and cheeses, cakes, croissants, fruit ( dried and fresh), yogurts- all of a high standard. The shared spaces are modern and stylish with a small but well maintained pool. We opted for a sea view and the bay offers plenty to look at. Our room was if a good size and decorated naturally.We stayed in Taranto for 10 nights so did feel the need for a hire car for some of the time but we also managed the local bus service to get to pretty beeches nearby ( 1.3 Euro)

    The hotel is located by the sea, with a comfortable, clean room in a renovated wing of the hotel. The best part is the delicious breakfast, fresh fruits, delicious pastries, and wonderful, friendly service, especially Mrs. Anita, who is incredibly kind and helpful and makes the best frapuccinos ever!
