    Hotel desk staff were pleasant and helpful. rooms are small but functional. Lighting in rooms is a bit dim and showers are quite small but we managed. the staff in the restaurant were so much fun our first evening we laughed and laughed. Antonella and Guiseppe were outstanding though all in the dinning room were great! they catered to our requests and even brought a special dinner with soup to one in our group not feeling well one day. We were in walking distance to the Shrine of Padre Pio though the roads were steep and a good workout. We did also use the bus line 2 to access the area on one day. All in all a very pleasant place to stay. Again the dining room staff were awesome!

    Hotel was located on a hillside near the St Pio Church. TV: All channels were Italian. The smart TV did allow me to view YouTube. Bed: Hard mattress but king sizeBathroom: Very small water closet for shower. Soap, shampoo, hair cap, and blow dryer.Small room with closet, dresser, and table. Motorized metal shades for door to veranda.Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, hotdogs, juice, coffee, breads, sweets, cereal, milk, sliced cheese and meat tray. Fruits with cream sauce. (Same meals for two days we stayed)People seemed strict with breakfast, where we could sit and how we picked up food.

    I stayed at the hotel as part of a church group pilgrimage to various cities in Italy. We came here to visit the church of Padre Pio. Of all of the hotels on this trip this is the one I would come back to. The hotel staff were very helpful, breakfast and dinner were quite good and the rooms were simple but nice. There was a small bar to get a drink in the evening before dinner. This hotel and the visit to Padre Pio is definitely something I want to bring my family to see.

    I felt like at home. They helped me with all my requests, really friendly receptionist I had every time a nice chatting with. The housekeeping staff are very discreet and willing to help. The location is not far from the Sanctuary of San Padre Pio, I'll be back

    Clean and adequate, but not a 4-star hotel

    The hotel caters primarily to groups and pilgrims visiting the Sanctuary of St. Pio. It is located within walking distance of the sanctuary, but it's a steep walk uphill.The hotel looks fairly modern from the outside and the location is very quiet. Inside, design and decor are quite dated.Room and bathroom were clean, with reasonably comfortable bed and pillows. The A/C was very weak, nearly useless; had to sleep with the window open. Room amenities included a laptop-size safe, which initially didn't work and was eventually repaired after multiple requests. The room decor and furnishings were quite dated with old, tired-looking bedspread and draperies.The bathroom design was also quite dated with a fairly small shower cabin and hardly any shelf space.Instead of key cards, heavy metal keys are still used, with a separate one to activate electricity. Wifi worked ok, with a couple of hiccups.Breakfast was ok (from a 4-star hotel one would expect a wider selection). Items were not labeled. Only one coffee machine with long lines. Most of the staff are pleasant, however some need an attitude adjustment. Once I called the front desk to report that the Wifi was no longer working (I had tried both my phone and my laptop) and an annoyed man replied that for him everything was working fine and he was not a technician!Overall adequate, but definitely not a 4-star.
