    Disappointing experience – stolen camera & poor management

    I attended a wedding at Casale del Murgese in May 2025. During the event, my rare film camera was stolen in what should have been a safe, fully staffed environment.The management was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, showing no willingness to take responsibility. Some of the operational staff tried to assist and showed concern, but their efforts were completely overshadowed by the management’s lack of professionalism.Because of how poorly the situation was handled, guests spent much of the evening trying to locate the missing camera, rather than enjoying the celebration. This significantly affected the overall experience of the day.I would strongly advise others – especially those hosting important events – to think twice before choosing this venue.

    The hotel was ok but I think they could you better for the breakfast items as It was the same 3 day I was there and I wasn’t very happy but I ate as not much to eat there

    Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. The room was large and clean. There was a good selection at breakfast and we ate one evening in the restaurant and the food was good. It was very quiet when we were there so not much atmosphere (although not a problem for us). Be mindful that the hotel is quite isolated so a car is needed really if you want to get out and explore.

    Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a tour organised by Cox & Kings. Pros- Nice, lovely grounds - Large infinity pool- Good breakfast buffet- Delicious dinnerCons- Remote location - Service patchy especially at the bar. There was a wedding on one night and we were expected to make separate arrangements for dinner. Seriously? What kind of hotel tells its guests - sorry we can’t serve you food because we have a wedding to cater for. Not acceptable.- Rooms very basic in their appointment - there’s a difference between “rustic” and “rudimentary” - this place falls into the latter category. - Shower good pressure but needs deep clean - No sense of accountability for customer satisfaction - you raise an issue but the staff is entirely indifferent to your needs. Wouldn’t choose nor stay here again. So many alternative options in region.

    The hotel is good but not luxurious. Quite isolated. Taxi to Fasano 35 Euros for a short distance, walking about 40 mins. Shuttle goes once a day at 7pm and returns at 10pm. Not great.Staff a bit grumpy and there were not enough staff when we were there.Rooms not cleaned that thoroughly. Rooms a bit dark and basic, far from luxurious! Gardens well kept and lovely, so was the swimming pool. Pity it rained a lot.Food good, amazing breakfasts! A regular taxi service would help.
