    Excellent 4 star city hotel

    Was not sure what to expect after reading mixed reviews, particularly about the remote location. For my husband and I who enjoy a good walk about a new place the location was pretty much perfect. Granted not in a picturesque location once outside the hotel doors but put that aside and enjoy the walk through a true Italian residential area/ business area . 10-15 minute walk to train station then from the station another 10-15 minute walk to waterfront, shopping areas and old town. Bari and the surrounding costal towns are amazing - so much to do and see. We based ourselves the full 10 nights in Bari as didn’t want the upheaval of moving to other towns every few days. Train services are great and each day we just hopped on a train to a different place. Hotel staff fantastic overall. Pleasant receptionists and great bar/restaurant staff. Special mentions to Gracianna and Marie Angela from the bar and restaurant - happy to chat with us and make food/drink recommendations. Also to the bar manager and restaurant manager were both so lovely and friendly too and greeted us warmly. The food at breakfast buffet for us as pretty seasoned travellers was fantastic- hot, plentiful and not at all chaotic as some have commented. We made it to breakfast every morning and that is a testament to how good it was. Finally, the pool was gorgeous and a welcome hour or so of relaxation after each long day of sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking 😀. Bari and hotel Romanazzi Carducci we will be back!!     Ok hotel on the wrong side of the tracks.

    The hotel offers park like setting within Bari. Unfortunately, its location on wrong side of the tracks, variability in staff, and maintenance shortfalls make sthis hotel closer to a 3+ then a 4 star hotel. I arrived ealy from an overnight flight. My room was not ready and was offered the use of the pool and health club. I just wanted a shower and went to the health club to shower. No towels. Went back to the desk and was told that would be an additional 3.50 euros. Really-staying 3 nights.. The staff failed to inform me or have any publicity about fireworks and the Saint Nicholas celebration. I asked for a 630AM cab before bed and no cab was there nor was there a record of my request.The room had holes in the ceiling near the drapes. The tile gout had what looked like mold and some doors visible from the elevator had rust.The hotel is on the wrong side of the tracks from the old town. A get 25 minute walk. The first 10 through some sketchy areas to this foreigner.     Loud music in garden

    Older hotel with large rooms in good condition. The hotel has a very nice park and nice pool area. Unfortunately, the restaurant/bar in the garden has loud music and there were several events in the old villa one also with disco beat until late night. You can not sleep all night.     I stayed in this hotel 3 times. The room are confortable. Only the shower is not wide enought when you are big. The hight is also a bit short when ypu are 1.90m tall.     Quiet luxury with a friendly staff

    We spent 4 nights in the hotel. We made the reservation directly from the website of Mercure and this runs smoothly The location of the hotel is quite good, not far from the autostrada and with a large car Parking. The check-in was quick and the staff helpful.The room was spacious and very clean. The bed and bathroom were OkBreakfast provided a large choice with possible outdoor seating. The hotel is located in a nice park and thus very quiet.
