    The staff is extremely nice and friendly, especially in the restaurants. Very welcoming. Good location for excursions. Absolutely excellent restaurant! Modern hotel decor.But it is not a 5 star hotel: Oddly, they only give you one towel per person to use at the pool and they keep your key hostage and threaten with a fine if you do not return the towel (not a five-star way to treat paying guests). Water bottle in room only on the first night. Closet hangers have hooks so you don't steal them. There is no turndown service. TV has only Italian language channels. Loungers by infinity pool very uncomfortable. We are sorry that you do not consider us a 5-star hotel, unlike many other guests who praise us precisely for the high level of quality and attention, but we respect your opinion. Our hotel chain policy provides a welcome water bottle for each guest occupying the room, however the minibar is well stocked and has additional water bottles available for purchase at any time day and night. As for coat hangers, these are accessories common to all hotels in each category, and their shape makes them easier to use, preventing them from accidentally falling off and onto the floor. We absolutely offer the turndown service every afternoon, it seems strange to us that you haven't noticed. We apologize for the availability of only Italian channels to TV during your stay, unfortunately a fault required the intervention of external specialized technicians to replace a source device and retune it. The photographs of our swimming pools (we have two) faithfully reflect the current layout, just as the sun loungers provided are those shown in the images, so we are somewhat perplexed that they do not correspond to reality, We wish you balance in life.

    Lovely small friendly hotel overlooking the sea

    Lovely stay in this hotel. Nice, spacious room, overlooking the sea. Dinner was delicious with lovely people serving. But the highlight were the breakfasts which were absolutely gorgeous - and we ate so much! Very special thanks to Giusy who served us every morning with a smile and a chat, she was so friendly and helpful and lovely, nothing was too much trouble.     Really good hotel as everything is high quality including the staff.Don’t bother with any boat trips as the one we had was not good value.They organised a wine tasting trip for us and that was fantastic.It’s called Castello Frisari and not only is the wine fantastic but the place is beautiful with a lovely meal at the end.Definitely going back to the hotel though as San Foca is great and if you want to eat, drink and sleep well this hotel is for you.Forgot to mention that it’s really modern and very cool 😎 Posia UNA Esperienze, Servizi per gli ospiti/front office at Posia Retreat & Spa | Una Esperienze, responded to this review Dear Guest, we are truly delighted that you took the time to write this wonderful review.     Wonderful holiday experience

    We had a wonderful stay at Posia SPA and Retreat. The location is stunning, with beautiful sea views and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing. The rooms were modern, spotless, and very comfortable.A special mention to the breakfast staff Giusy @ Domenico who were always smiling, attentive, and made each morning feel like a treat. The front desk team, Francesca, Alessia & Francesco were equally fantastic — helpful, professional, and genuinely caring with lots of helpful tips for exploringWe left feeling refreshed and very well looked after.     Pleasant surprise in San Foca

    As soon as you walk in the door and greeted by the reception staff you know that that your stay is going to be special. Our stay was truly special. The cleanliness of the entire Hotel is faultless, every piece of furniture, decor etc is spotless. Our room was simply (but elegantly) magnificent. Comfort at every level re the bedding, nice spacious bathroom and the sea view was an added bonus. We didn't have dinner or lunch at the Hotel but other guests did compliment on the food. Breakfast was a standout and there was everything anyone could wish to kickoff their day. If you had a special request the kitchen would make the effort to make it possible. A special mention to Giusy who met every morning with a smile and conversation...she is an angelxxx. Also thank you so much to Alice for getting some much needed ironing attended to for us. Posia Retreat & Spa is worth staying at if your in that part of the coast.
