Location

The hotel is situated in the centre of Rodi Gargano and offers a private beach, which is located 800 metres from the hotel. A shuttle service will take guests to the beach and to Rodi Garganico train station, a 3-minute drive away. Bari-Palese Airport is approximately 220 km from the hotel.

Facility

53 rooms, including 4 single rooms and 19 double rooms, are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay.     Here is the English translation:> This was our second stay at Villa Americana in Rodi Garganico, and we made wonderful friends! The staff is extremely accommodating, kind, and always smiling. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the cuisine is truly homemade. The dinner buffet is rich with specialties from southern Italy—vegetables, pasta, fish, and meat. The local wine is of excellent quality. In the lush garden, among palm trees, bougainvillea, agave, and oleander, there is a beautiful, exceptionally clean pool. Pure enjoyment. They also have free parking. We will come again!

    Room No 205An average sized double room with another double bed folded up on wall!Wifi: Is free and not too badAir con :YesTea and coffee available in room? : NoTowels: Not too bad and decent sizeRobes: NoLocation: Good. Just a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants and about 10 mins to beach down hill!Bathroom: A bit cramped with very small shower cubicle. Unable to open door fully as it hits the bidet!Breakfast: below par! Not much choice.Dinner; the dinner was very good with lots of options. Drinks were reasonably priced and served at table. Carafe of half litre of red or white wine for 4 eurosComments:The hotel is family run and a little dated. It is also like a tardis with doors all over and no easy way round.There is a swimming pool and hotel has its own beach with shuttle service for 8 euros per day per person which includes beach bed!     The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.The hotel is very close to town and the room was very comfortable .I fully recommend this hotel.     The hotel is in 'privileged position'.It means most of the traffic is two metres away from the hotel.The 4 stars rooms have a comfortable mini fridge.Our room had two, one was not working, probably a relict from XX century, the other one was not comfortable for a bottle of wine.The room reminded me a room in a Bulgarian horror hotel, 25 years ago.The view from the room was on another wing of the hotel, 6-7 metres away, with three very noisy air conditioners.The most interesting view from our terrace was watching people on the opposite site using their bathroom / toilet.Our bathroom had a bidet so 2/10.The hotel allows dogs. One or two woke me up one night. The food was really OK, 7/10, but on HB have to pay for tap water at the restaurant.The best part of the hotel was a swimming pool, 9/10.Putting all together this hotel is 3.5/10.
