Location

The small streets of Otranto are full of interesting shops and cultural exhibitions, just a few steps away from the resort. Lecce, located 45 km away, presents a great example of Italian Baroque architecture. The bus station is approximately 400 m away and the railway station some 800 m. The beach is at a distance of only around 200 m from the hotel.

    We visited this hotel as part of a tour of Puglia. We were a large group but the hotel were able to cater for us really well. Our room was very large with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods. We had dinner which was lovely.

    This is a well situated hotel with less than a 10minute easy walk to the sea.Public spaces were nice but the bedrooms are a lot more basic, no frills , no drink making facilities. The 1st room as a couple was tiny , door didn't shut completely and there was a pair of dirty pants/swim trunks on the balcony! We swapped with our tour manager who as a single person was given a huge, much better room, other single people also had bigger rooms , go figure!!. Breakfast very basic and continental. Definitely not a 4star , sorry to say.

    The noise when you are eating is unbearable, akin to a school dinner hall. Would help if the majority of staff took a happy pill. Breakfasts average, evening meals quite good. Area outside of our room, used for smokers etc. made it difficult to get some rest.

    Very friendly welcome in this smallish hotel. Rooms are large with comfortable bedding. TV in room (no English TV available) and there are no tea making facilities in room. They do provide a bottle of natural and fizzy water free of charge. The bar is closed in the main hotel during the day and drinks are available by the very pretty pool. The pool is not (as far as I could see) accessible and you have to climb a couple of flights of steps to get access. It is very reasonable at the bar and friendly service.Location is very close to the lovely harbour, ten minute slow walk and you have a wide range of eating/drinking venues on hand.
