A Fabulous Gastronomic Experience at the Resort in Faenza

    rating25 Aug 2026

A Fabulous experience. They specialize in seafood but have other options on the menu. The wine list is the best local selections from all of Italy.Marco was an excellent, knowledgeable and welcoming Captain.Massimiliano, a wonderful and extensive knowledge of the wines. All wait persons were attentive and friendly. Had the Tuna tartar accompanied with an Orange white wine from Abbazia San Giorgio. PerfectHad a pasta course with Tortellini Barrata in a sausage Ragu accompanied by a local Sangiovese. Delicious. Then the main entree, the fish of the day with white fish, Shrimps, a stuffed Prawn, Squid and a side of grilled vegetables. The dessert was their signature Cinque Cucchiai. A Chocolate Mousse with whipped cream accompanied by a local dessert wine reminiscent of Sauternes. Unbelievable!A well known restaurant and resort in Faenza to the locals. Come here to the SpA, pool and definitely the restaurant for a memorable experience. They even have flamingos in their pond on the property!

Idyllic Poolside Dining within a Beautiful Resort

    rating06 Aug 2025

Came for lunch at Bar/Restaraunt Café Floripa and had a delightful experience. Villa Abbondanzi is a stunning resort, with gorgeous manicured grounds and flamingos on the lake. The hotel offers 2 more formal dining options, more suited for dinner, but Café Floripa is ideal for a leisurely lunch. It neighbours the pool, its al fresco tables sheltered by a canopy. Food was good, service easy going and fun. Martina Bucci, Direttore generale at Villa Abbondanzi Resort, responded to this review Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted that your lunch at Café Floripa was such an enjoyable experience. We are really pleased to hear that you appreciated our gardens, flamingos, and the relaxing atmosphere of our resort. We hope to have you back as our guest soon, perhaps to try our other dining options!Best regards from the staff of Villa Abbondanzi Resort

We loved watching the storks fly overhead, and the flamingos were a real treat. Breakfast was great, and they make eggs and pancakes to order. I would definitely come back here and 100% recommend. Excellently located

    rating05 Jul 2025

Thank you to Gustavo for a great tour and options of the suites in the separate main residence. We decided on the Pagoda exec room which was great and airy with a corner greenhouse type extension which was right next to the main restaurant. The breakfast was simple but good quality and every member was so helpful and kind. There are multiple quality supermarkets nearby and retail parks Inc a massive Decathlon for cycling and hiking needs. We enjoyed a great 4 night stay. The ac was strong and housekeeping was very good. The gym was good and the spa facilities are nice. Please have a central towel station. One of the best meals we had in our 10 day Tuscany trip was at the fine dining restaurant of Abbondanzi and we would do a separate review. A solid choice in FAENZA! Martina Bucci, Proprietario at Villa Abbondanzi Resort, responded to this review Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We are really happy that you enjoyed our location and especially the tour with Gustavo. We are glad to hear that the Pagoda Executive room met your expectations with its space and bright extension. We are glad that the breakfast was to your liking and that our staff showed their usual helpfulness and kindness. It is also great to know that you found nearby resources helpful.A comfortable 4-night stay is exactly what we hope for our Guests, and we are glad that the air conditioning and Housekeeping service helped make it so. We take note of your suggestion for towels in the gym, thank you for the valuable feedback! Finally, reading that our Restaurants gave you one of the best meals of your trip fills us with pride. We hope to welcome you back soon here in Faenza.

    Great stay!

    rating26 Apr 2025

I recently stayed at Villa Abbondanzi Resort during a business trip to Faenza and really enjoyed it. The rooms are spread out over three buildings — all clean, comfortable, and quiet. The gardens around the resort are beautiful and make it a great place to relax after a busy day. There’s a spa, gym, two pools, and a really good restaurant on site. The staff were always friendly and helpful. If you like to stay active, you can borrow a bike from the resort and explore the area — it’s only a short ride to Faenza’s old town. Also, if you have some free time, make sure to take a walk in Parco Bucci. It’s a lovely park not far from the resort, perfect for a break outdoors.Would definitely recommend Villa Abbondanzi if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay in Faenza. Martina Bucci, Direttore generale at Villa Abbondanzi Resort, responded to this review We really appreciate your review, especially as a guest on a business trip. We are glad that Villa Abbondanzi Resort was an oasis of tranquility and comfort after your busy days in Faenza. We are glad you found time to relax in our gardens and explore the surroundings. We look forward to your next stay!Best regards from the staff of Villa Abbondanzi Resort
