  Very disappointing experience, especially regarding the management of the room and the reports.

  The assigned room did not correspond to the one booked. A room type with a balcony had been chosen, but upon arrival a different accommodation was assigned, without any prior notice and without the change being communicated at check-in. We discovered it ourselves.The explanation provided was, in essence, that that was the room available. Considering that the reservation had been made well in advance, there was a lack of the transparency that one would expect in such a situation.Added to this were several comfort issues: cyclical noise coming from the technical area, problems with the water supply. All issues reported during the stay and left unaddressed without any effective feedback.In fairness, we were offered compensation of 10 euros per day, for a total of 2 days.Some small incidents also contributed to the general feeling: staff entering the room without knocking and shortcomings in the organization of breakfast (cutlery never replenished once it ran out).I am not in the habit of leaving negative reviews. Normally I prefer to deal directly with the property and give them the chance to make amends. In this case, however, I felt it was right to share the experience so that other travelers can make an informed choice.It is not a question of expecting perfection: it is a question of transparency, fairness, and attention when something goes wrong.   I spent 2 weeks with my family at the King Hotel; it was part of the same hotel group. The rooms were small but comfortable and clean. Nothing was missing: minibar, TV, bathroom with shower; the only flaw was the shower door, which was a bit squeaky. But once we got the hang of it, it opened and closed with care. Abundant breakfasts, there was everything from sweet to savory, with a few hitches every now and then with the juice or coffee machine, but a nod was enough and the staff was ready to solve them. Lunch and dinner were all very good, also here with small hitches but solved immediately, returning to the best. I take this opportunity to greet them all, capable and very kind, all young but skilled. The guys at the bar always had a bright smile and kept you company before leaving after an excellent coffee, and what can I say about the girls at the reception, always ready to answer every question and satisfy every request?   Budget hotel but could do better

  Wishing to spend a few days at Cesenatico in an area we knew, we booked at this hotel on a B&B accommodation. Breakfast: lots of homemade tarts/cakes/sweet croissants, delicious white gourmet rolls, sliced white bread, cold meats, sliced cheese, big open bowls with white/strawberry yoghurt and fruit in syrup (not a single fresh fruit...), cereals, butter, packaged jams. However, pulling up some prunes in syrup, I also found a stone (!), probably someone's leftover had been poured into the bowl, no comment. Large but never cleaned food warmer. On the first day at the coffee/cappuccino machine/... there was no barley. No choice of vegetable drinks. Orange/pineapple/... juice, cow milk, water. Gluten-free food provided by waiters. Lots of rules on many items, including linen provided (if you happened to leave a towel on the floor — we never do, unless room cleaners ask to —, you were charged for it, which might be fine as an educational anti-waste guideline), towels changed every 3 days (however, we stayed 5 nights and they were never changed! The only one that was replaced was the one at the base of the shower, once). Agreed that this is a budget hotel, and it's quite understandable, but... you name it!
