    This is a lovely, clean hotel with fantastic staff who organised a taxi for us and saved us from having to walk 40 minutes to the hotel (with a baby and lots of luggage), as there were no taxis available for over 2 hours when we tried booking ourself. We were previously in a dirty airbnb with our friends but moved out straight away and needed somewhere clean for our baby. staff have also been very attentive to our needs and answer all our questions. The rooms are simple but clean and sufficient with a good air conditioner. Breakfast is very good, with lots of variety. Very close to the beach and the city. For the price, it's a very good place. We are here for 5 nights and so thankful.

    Pleasant seaside hotel

    The Hotel Calypso is a no frills hotel a stone's throw from the main beach in Rimini. The rooms are basic, but clean and fine for a short stay. The breakfast buffet was fairly extensive with a good range of options to choose from. Overall nothing outstanding, but okay for a few nights away. Main train station is a short walk from the hotel.

    Clean room, but tap is a bit Agressieve, airconditioning only sometimes on, receptionist hot, they let you in at 6AM, elevator bit small, If you are fat you don’t fit. No taxi near, but close to beach. Everyone says bonjorno when you have hangover, bit exhausting.

    A Mixed Experience at a Well-Located Hotel

    My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel from April 9th to 12th 2023. Our experience was a mix of positives and negatives.Pros:1. Friendly and helpful staff - The receptionist, an authentic Italian gentleman, was very welcoming. The overall staff was courteous and kind.2. Housekeeping assistance - The housekeeper helped us with an adapter for our charger.3. Excellent location - The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, which has direct buses to the airport and San Marino. It's also close to a beautiful port, promenade, and a wide variety of restaurants.4. Proximity to the old town - The old town is just a 14-minute walk from the hotel.Cons:1. Poor soundproofing - The room had very bad noise insulation, making it difficult to have a peaceful stay.2. Broken showerhead - The showerhead in our bathroom was broken, causing inconvenience during our stay.3. Window issue - The window in the bathroom wouldn't close properly, making the bathroom cold at night.4. Limited non-sweet breakfast options - The hotel offered a limited variety of non-sweet breakfast options.5. Weak hairdryer - The provided hairdryer had weak airflow and a hole in the air intake tube.In summary, the hotel had a great location and friendly staff, but there were some issues with the room and facilities that need improvement.

    We've just returned from this lovely cozy hotel and I'm already missing it so much! Calypso became a home for me and my parents for a week. We stayed in a triple room with 1 double bed and 1 single. Room was pretty spacious. In the bathroom, the sink is separated from the shower and toilet which is very convenient. Wifi connection is strong on the whole territory. Breakfasts were okey with delicious coffee and cacao from the machine. Location of the hotel is wonderful: 5 minutes to the beach (#23) and 10 or less minutes to the railway station and buses from where you may travel through Italy. But the heart of the hotel is its owners: two kind and attentive brothers! During our stay Michele and Rafael were very helpful, always answered our questions and all the time met us with their sunny smiles:) Thank you very much, it made our stay special! What else... On the day of departure we were able to leave our luggage, because we left later than c/o time. Cleaning was every day, we had a fridge in a room, iron was provided by request. Rooms were renovated last year, so everything is new, clean and pretty!For any questions you may contact me. Choose Calypso and enjoy your holiday! :)
