    Definitely not 4 star!Very, very dated hotel. Food poor and staff not particularly helpful.Only plus point was location to the Ironman event that I was attending.

    Hotel Club Dante - Close to the Ironman

    We went for the Italian Ironman which is held in Cervia. Hotel was very central, easy to walk to the Ironman start and finish line and the run and bike leg is right out the front of the hotel. You can easily walk to the Old Town and you should as there is not much around the hotel to see and do. Great little pizza place just around the corner, but we paid for full board so had breakfast, lunch and dinner supplied in the Club Hotel Dante Restaurant - food was great every day. Room was good everything we needed. Good place to stay

    Very Disappointing Stay – Not as Described

    I stayed at Club Hotel Dante in Cervia, Italy, from 10th to 17th August, booked via LuxairTours. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what was advertised.The hotel is old and poorly maintained. I had booked a room for 4 people and had clearly indicated the ages of my children during the reservation process. However, we were given a room with a bunk bed where neither of my children could fit comfortably.In the bathroom, the toilet cisterns are constantly leaking due to the humidity and condensation from the hot air and high temperatures. The air conditioning does not work at all, making the room unbearably warm. Additionally, the bathroom plumbing emits a very unpleasant smell.Overall, the facilities and conditions were not as described, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a comfortable family stay.

    Very nice staff, especially Luca. He had been very nice to us all the time and we had a lot of fun. The food was always great. I personally don't understand the criticism about the hotel. Would recommend to everyone who wants to relax but wants to have fun as well. Es gab in den Ferien auch viele Jugendliche

    Disappointing Stay - Unprofessional Staff and Lackluster Service

    I recently stayed at this hotel in Cervia, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, especially considering the current phase of the AI revolution, where some industries are thriving. However, the hospitality sector at this establishment appears to be struggling, as evidenced by the unprofessionalism and lack of service exhibited by the staff.CONS:Check-in Experience:The check-in experience was entirely negative. The reception staff, numbering more than five individuals behind the desk, seemed to lack any hospitality background or even a basic attitude suited for the industry. My simple request for an iron and board was denied, with the staff deeming it the strangest request they had ever encountered. Their communication skills were lacking, and their facial expressions, including smiles, were conspicuously absent. Maintaining eye contact proved challenging, as their focus remained fixed on computer screens. Basic mannerisms, such as standing up from chairs while interacting with guests, were also noticeably absent.In-house Experience:Throughout my six-night stay, greeting guests seemed nonexistent in their dictionary. Housekeeping services were subpar, limited to changing towels and making the bed without addressing essential tasks like changing bed sheets, dusting tabletops, or thoroughly cleaning the floor and bathroom. The superficial cleaning left hygiene concerns unaddressed.PROS:Restaurant Experience:The only redeeming aspect of my stay was the restaurant experience. Mrs. Michela, in particular, exhibited a genuine passion for her job. Her professionalism and understanding of guest needs made the morning breakfast and dinner enjoyable. However, the buffet food was only mediocre.Check-out Experience:The check-out experience was positive, thanks to the professionalism of the night receptionist.Overall Impression:It appears that this hotel is managed by individuals lacking a hospitality background. The absence of an apparent management team suggests a lack of oversight and care for guest experiences. The hotel is, unfortunately, old, smelly, and damp, providing inadequate service for the money spent.Recommendation:I strongly advise potential guests to avoid this hotel in Cervia. Despite boasting a 4 star rating on paper, its performance merits a negative - 4 star rating. The facts of the Hotel do not match with the website photos. The facility's age, unpleasant odour, dampness, and subpar service render it an unwise investment with no value for money.
