  The hotel is in a fantastic location, staff first class, food excellent. Rooms clean tidy and has everything you would need. I would describe the rooms as first ckass

  Hotel and staff are 1st class. The food offering is excellent. Location of the hotel is minutes from a wonderful beach with bars and cafes in the town. The location also offers a central location to explore this area of Italy. Highly recommend this family run hotels

  I spent the most beautiful time with my wife, we stayed there for a week and all the staff was really friendly, awesome food and really close to the beach.I really advice you to visit there, u will not regret it.

  Worst experience I’ve ever had

  I travel a lot with with work and have stayed in a range of hotels. This hotel was clearly a budget hotel, so expectations were low, but I was only there wanting a comfy, good night’s sleep and a good location. The uncomfortable bed and the mould in the bathroom were not pleasant, neither was the view of a wall. However, these complaints pail into insignificance in comparison to the attitude of the staff. Rude, aggressive, inappropriate are just a few words I could use to describe one member of staff. Not only did he try and scam one of my colleagues out of hundreds euros, but also was extremely aggressive to her, refusing her access to her hotel room in the early hours of the morning. Our stay also coincided with a group of children who were there for a local football tournament. Despite being promised by the staff that they would be quiet, they spent the whole night running between rooms, up and down the tiled stairways (in football boots!) banging on doors, shouting, playing. I understand children will play up, but not a single person from their group or the hotel staff did anything about the situation. I told them to be quiet several times (it was midnight at this point) and they just continued to bang on doors and scream. Given the cheapness of the hotel, the walls were not thick. I could hear every word. I spent every work day feeling exhausted, managing 3-4 hours a night at most of sleep. We avoided breakfast because the school children took over and the place was a mess. Oh and did I mention the inappropriateness? “You can come and sleep with me if the noise is too loud..” “What room are you in, I’ll come find you...” You can imagine how worried I was that someone would come to my room uninvited. I left the hotel feeling exhausted, upset and cross. You expect certain things in cheap hotels, but never abuse, or a complete lack of care for customers. Also, learn to clean your bathrooms, mould is not good! ValentinaSilvagni, Proprietario at Hotel Madison, responded to this review Firstly, we have to say that we can't absolutely agree with many things said. We tried to ask you several times for the city tax but always refused to pay just saying "we'll do it later" and all the time run away from us.The night porter has never been so aggressive as described, he just tried to make sure the agreement we took about the local tax would have been accomplished and never screamed to anyone. For what concerns the joke made by the night-porter about the "invite" to come to your room, it's pure no-sense: we really don't know what you are referring to. If you had some complain to make you should have come and tell us, and we would have tried to solve the problem. About the children, we have scolded them more than one time, but they never listened. We had also to remember you many times about the extras to pay, not to mention the transfer issue. We had already arranged everything in advance for you, following the spreadsheat which was very specific with all the names of guests and the time schedule when coming at airport or pick up from here but we were forced to pay instead of you even if this guest never showed up without advising and any notice from your side.About the walls, we had recently painted them in most of the rooms.We are sorry for the inconvenience, if you need any other explanation please contact us.Thank you

  Although the hotel is a great place but parking is difficult even for those far from physical disabilities or small children is also a good price .Staff not nice explicitly stated in the booking that have parking close due to a medical problem, yet there is a long way from the parking lot . The rooms are needed to reach two elevators and go through the dining room that is not seen anywhere in the world.The walls of the rooms are very thin and you can hear everything through the walls Annemarie everything I mean every little noise as possible.All rooms are small and cheap furniture just like simple food Bhcsnit youth and provides standard chow .We got a defective one bed springs out Yamcom and hard to sleep on a mattress
