Location

    Do not stay here if you would like to sleep - very loud music until 1:30 am

    I knew there was trouble when we saw earplugs presented on the nightstands in our room. The restaurant on a different property below the Conventino hotel plays extremely loud music in the evenings. It is unbelievably loud and makes it impossible to sleep. I can’t believe that with such a beautiful castle village, the town of Gradara would allow such an extreme type of disruption to occur. The noise is intolerable. Very unfortunate considering the lovely setting of the Conventino.

    Great location right beside the old city walls. The pool area is beautiful. The staff were also excellent. We were able to check in early and use the pool facilities after check out which was an added bonus. Our historic prestige room was very spacious with large windows on 3 sides.

    At a location with a breathtaking view, there is a fantastic hotel in an old monastery, where everything is just right. A privat parking, super friendly personel, perfect breakfast, a beautiful room with good bed.... We enjoyed every moment we were in the hotel!

    The parking instructions are a bit conflicting. Use the photograph and not the map. It would also be more convenient if they instruct you to drive up to the reception for unloading and registration. The parking is a bit cumbersome and the reception is at the other end.Also the fact that the same owners exploit a Antica Loggia and another loggia Antica inside the walls does not add to clarity.Anyhow, once being brought to the studio insde the walls, you will find a comfortable design room. with all ameninties, but not antica at all.Breakfats is being served in the Conventino with a wonderful view. You may use the pool as well.Staff is forthcoming.Gradara is a bit over-restored, too nice to be true, but further very cosy and touristic.

    We highly recommend. Beautiful location, beside a real medieval castle. The convent site is fabulous, great view towards the coast, perfect pool and spa, and lovely staff who are extraordinarily helpful. Great for reaching out to Urbino, Ancona, Recanati and other Marche wonders. As it is a multi-site resort, make sure before arriving where you are supposed to check in.
