Lovely Stay with Friendly Staff and Great Breakfast

    rating22 Aug 2025

We had a really good stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the place was very baby-friendly, which made traveling much easier. The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth highlighting – especially for the price. The location is also excellent and makes it easy to get around. The bed was quite hard though, and the pillows could have been better, which took away a bit from the comfort. The pool was small but very nice and well maintained – perfect for a relaxing break. All in all, a lovely stay with a few minor downsides.

Lovely hotel on the seaside in Rimini, also good value for money

    rating11 Apr 2025

I stayed for 6 days in April 2025 at Mercure Rimini Lungomare. Upon arrival I was given a room at the 5th floor, via stair access (lift goes up the 4th floor). After turning that down, the receptionists (the very kind and helpful Silvia, throughout my stay) upgraded me to a larger room, no. 408. The room in itself was very large by Italian standards, the bathroom likewise, and furnished with everything one may need. The bed was huge and comfy, useful minibar, safe, kettle, huge TV. The towels were fluffy, water pressure in the shower adequate. Cleanliness was very good and maintained at proper standards during my stay. Another great positive was the breakfast that is absolutely fantastic! Honorable mention to Ramona at breakfast and at the bar, always smiling and helpful. From what I saw all rooms, or most of them in the hotel, have a balcony, and every one is furnished with a table and two chairs, which is very nice for a coffee or a cocktail while looking at the sea. The beach is very close and one can enjoy the beautiful sunrise if gets up early and the sky is clear. The hotel is located on Viale Vespucci, which is a very busy street on the seaside. It was busy and noisy since early morning in April in off-season, it can only be busier during summer, in season. My room was on the corner towards the road, not the beach. The sound insulation was ok, but just, and I fear during season, when there is noisy activity pretty much all night it may not be enough. I do not think it may be possible to sleep with the balcony door open during summer. Furthermore, right under my room there is the outdoor pool of the hotel, which was not used given the weather in April, but I read reviews about noisy activity during hot summer nights around the pool. The advice is then to book a room facing the beach/ sea, even if it costs more, to avoid the noisy road and the sounds from street, be it music from the various restaurants or the people by the pool.Rimini is a beautiful seaside Italian resort and an excellent starting point for day trips to Ravenna or San Marino. The historic town itself has a lot to offer, including the Tempio malatestiano, Museo della città, the Fellini museum inside the Castel Sismondo, and many others. The bus station for the bus no 11 that takes you to the railway station and the town centre is just a 2-min walk from the hotel. If in town I will not hesitate to stay again at Mercure Rimini Lungomare.

    Could not fault

    rating12 May 2024

We had an amazing stay here! Staff were super friendly and so helpful. Our room was upgraded to a privilege room - huge terrace with a sea view, 2 sunbeds and a table & chairs. We were also given a voucher for 2 welcome spritz cocktails that were amazing!!! Room was spotless and we don’t have one bad thing to say. It also has a lovely pool, perfect for small children. The location is really family friendly, with lovely play parks dotted along the beach. It’s only a 15 min walk from the train station and about 20 min walk from the town centre. There’s so many good restaurants and bars just minutes away from the hotel and we spent the majority of our time near by. The breakfast was delicious with so much variety. We would love to come again! Grazie Mille! Bargain find! Another good Mercure!

    rating12 Oct 2023

We were in Italy for my birthday and I picked to stay here as it was a good offer, on the beach and I know the Mercure brand so knew even if it wasn’t as described would be of a good standard. Again Accor and the Mercure brand didnt disappoint. Hotel is well located with a 20 min walk from the train station (can pick buses to San Marino here too) right next to the beach and across the road from some fantastic restaurants. Also well located to pick up line bikes/ scooters. We arrived at 1.30pm when a room was ready for us however I’d forgot to request a high floor. I cannot remember the name of the lady that checked us in on 7Oct but she was so friendly and helpful (as were ALL staff to be honest) she advised us there was a higher floor available but would be an hour whilst they finished cleaning so they gave us a changing room for the small pool that is out the front for us to change and lock our stuff away whilst we went in the pool until our room was ready. 45 mins later we was heading to our room which was lovely room where you went to floor 4 and then when entering the room you climbed a further 15 steps up to the room. We loved this and the side view we booked from here was perfect. Amazing sized balcony too. Room was peaceful and spacious. Only comments on the room (which didn’t bother us but to note for a 4 star hotel) there was different colour paints on the walls and looks like where a mirror was changed the colour difference was obvious. Air con could take a while too kick in. Last day noticed quite a few ants on the desk area and there must have been some pipes in there as you’d often here water rushing at times. We still slept however but just to note (room 504) this is why I have done as 4 stars. As all other aspects of the friendly helpful staff, cleanliness of the hotel and location was perfect. Again would like to state these things hadn’t bothered us but maybe worth to note to some travellers. Great hotel and would recommend!
