  Great locaion, amazing breakfast

  The hotel is incredibly well located only a minute from the beachfront and also close to a number of resturants. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk and also a pharmacy as well as othewr shops and bars/ cafes. The train station is about a 15-20 minute walk but there are buses that will take you there if you don't wish to wander. We were welcomed warmly by a friendly receptionist who explained everything to us and we also received a voucher for a free drink at the bar which I think we could have used on any night of our stay. We used it on the first one and were pleased that there was a non-aloholic option which seemed to be blood orange and lemon juice, these were severd alongside a number of little snacks. The hotel itself was spotless throughout our stay. The room was an excellen size. We were to the left hand side with a balcony with a sea view (through other buildings). One thing to note is that the key card needs to be inserted into what appears to be the air conditing control panel. we were looking for a little cup to place it vertically into. Once in it allows you to use the lights and the air con, we were informed of its location after asking at reception. The bed was large and very comortable although I personally had to get a spare pillow out of the wardrobe. The bathroom was also spacious although the shower cubicle was a little more on the small side. The room had everything we wanted. There was noise the first night which was a Friday from one of the neighbouring bars, it may have been that I had not closed the balcony door properly as following nights (after house keeping had been in and closed the door) were much quiter. The breakfast selection was fantastic with an excellent selection of cakes and pastries. There were hot and cold food options, as well as resh juice (including an orange juice machine). The people working in the dining room wold ask if you wanted a coffee. The times for breakfast were also very good and allowed usto eat before heading off early for the bus to San Marino, or to get to the airport for our flight.We did also make use of the swimming pool. It is only small but ample room for two people to enjoy some gentle swimming and relaxation. To begin with we were worried about it being close to the road but due to the hedges and it being suken you aren't overlooked by passersby. The reception also provide you with towels for use at the pool which is a nice touch.Prior to arrival I had been in contact with the hotel about arranging a birthday cake, which was waiting in the room when we arrived. They had also given us a printed card and a bottle of wine. I did have to pay for the cake but the price had been agreed upon during our conversations. We enjoyed our time staying here and would recommend it.

  Lovely Stay with Friendly Staff and Great Breakfast

  We had a really good stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the place was very baby-friendly, which made traveling much easier. The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth highlighting – especially for the price. The location is also excellent and makes it easy to get around.The bed was quite hard though, and the pillows could have been better, which took away a bit from the comfort. The pool was small but very nice and well maintained – perfect for a relaxing break.All in all, a lovely stay with a few minor downsides.

  Lovely hotel on the seaside in Rimini, also good value for money

  I stayed for 6 days in April 2025 at Mercure Rimini Lungomare. Upon arrival I was given a room at the 5th floor, via stair access (lift goes up the 4th floor). After turning that down, the receptionists (the very kind and helpful Silvia, throughout my stay) upgraded me to a larger room, no. 408. The room in itself was very large by Italian standards, the bathroom likewise, and furnished with everything one may need. The bed was huge and comfy, useful minibar, safe, kettle, huge TV. The towels were fluffy, water pressure in the shower adequate. Cleanliness was very good and maintained at proper standards during my stay. Another great positive was the breakfast that is absolutely fantastic! Honorable mention to Ramona at breakfast and at the bar, always smiling and helpful. From what I saw all rooms, or most of them in the hotel, have a balcony, and every one is furnished with a table and two chairs, which is very nice for a coffee or a cocktail while looking at the sea. The beach is very close and one can enjoy the beautiful sunrise if gets up early and the sky is clear.The hotel is located on Viale Vespucci, which is a very busy street on the seaside. It was busy and noisy since early morning in April in off-season, it can only be busier during summer, in season. My room was on the corner towards the road, not the beach. The sound insulation was ok, but just, and I fear during season, when there is noisy activity pretty much all night it may not be enough. I do not think it may be possible to sleep with the balcony door open during summer. Furthermore, right under my room there is the outdoor pool of the hotel, which was not used given the weather in April, but I read reviews about noisy activity during hot summer nights around the pool. The advice is then to book a room facing the beach/ sea, even if it costs more, to avoid the noisy road and the sounds from street, be it music from the various restaurants or the people by the pool.Rimini is a beautiful seaside Italian resort and an excellent starting point for day trips to Ravenna or San Marino. The historic town itself has a lot to offer, including the Tempio malatestiano, Museo della città, the Fellini museum inside the Castel Sismondo, and many others. The bus station for the bus no 11 that takes you to the railway station and the town centre is just a 2-min walk from the hotel. If in town I will not hesitate to stay again at Mercure Rimini Lungomare.

  We had an amazing stay here! Staff were super friendly and so helpful. Our room was upgraded to a privilege room - huge terrace with a sea view, 2 sunbeds and a table & chairs. We were also given a voucher for 2 welcome spritz cocktails that were amazing!!! Room was spotless and we don’t have one bad thing to say. It also has a lovely pool, perfect for small children. The location is really family friendly, with lovely play parks dotted along the beach. It’s only a 15 min walk from the train station and about 20 min walk from the town centre. There’s so many good restaurants and bars just minutes away from the hotel and we spent the majority of our time near by. The breakfast was delicious with so much variety.
