Mini vacation in Milano Marittima

We were in Milano Marittima for a few days, I must say that at Hotel Sorriso we felt fantastic right from the start, the property is very close to the sea and the center. We were welcomed very well at the reception and also by Ciro, a very polite person who is always available to find any solution to potential problems (we didn't have any), the staff is kind, friendly, and always available; I was struck by their smiles and positivity.Rooms, it's true, the furniture is a bit dated, but the property is very beautiful, the outdoor pool is gorgeous, well-maintained, and clean.On the last day, they allowed us to use the pool for a few more hours even though we had checked out while waiting for our departure, something we appreciated very much and for which we are grateful.What can I say, certainly one of the first hotels we will contact if we were to return to Milano Marittima.Great job and congratulations! The hotel is located a stone's throw from the seafront. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is beautiful, as are the pool and the outdoor hot tub. There is no area for children and the bar is deserted in the evening. On the booking.com website, evening entertainment and a kids' club are indicated, but in reality, they do not exist; they only had a piano bar one evening after dinner. Breakfast, on the other hand, is at the level of a 2-star hotel, very poor and with poorly trained staff. I am sorry, but a 4-star hotel should have much more. The food was one of the highlights of our stay. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. There was a great variety of dishes, so there was always something to choose from, and every meal was full of flavour. The quality of the food was excellent, and we especially appreciated how tasty and well-prepared everything was.

We stayed with my wife at the Sorriso hotel in early July. The value for money is not there... not for a 4 **** hotel in a country like Italy. Air conditioning often not working as well as the lift. The rooms and their furniture need to be modernized, the dining room is falling apart. 1 positive point is the terrace for breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff! It was really the 1 and only happy moment of our stay. The management, who you would expect the highest standards from, had instead such a poor attitude if compared to the rest of the staff. We will definitely not be returning nor recommending it.

A good place for a relaxing vacarion

My wife and I ha e been there for a long week end must to ho out after the long lockdown due to Covid 19! The Hotel is elegant, new and very clean: the rooms are simple but with all the necessary things and from the small terrace with a table and two chairs you could se the sea. The bathroom is big enough with a conmfortable shower. All the personel is very kind and ready to help you for all your need.The breakfast is served on a big covered terrace on the third floor: the waiters take care of the guests with special attention.
