Upon arrival, very beautiful from the outside, when we entered, we were welcomed by the owner Mr. Antonio, and by the receptionist Carlo, with kindness and affability; after the introductions he offered us coffee. Once checked in, he called the beach service, affiliated with the hotel! The receptionist Carlo further explained to us how the keys for accessing the room worked. Arrived on the second floor, we arrived in the room: an entrance, with a large closet, large entrance, a large bedroom, a nice bathroom. A simple room... dust under the bed, the only place they never cleaned! Food not bad, perhaps because it was the beginning of the season, the substitute for the maitre d', who was at another hotel, Moss, a very young guy, full of initiative, kind, had crepes prepared for us by the equally good cook: Davide. It was a good stay, we were a few meters from the beach, obviously we had the umbrella and the deckchairs, affiliated with the hotel. In our opinion, it has certainly had better years, years in which it was luxurious... But today, we would no longer define it as such! A normal hotel... what to say...... there would be many things to say but I will limit myself to advising those who decide to stay at this facility NOT to make this mistake...... it is not a 4-star... there are no stars for this facility left totally at the mercy of a non-existent organization, non-existent cleaning, totally poor food and service...... and the Management is aware of it..... so much so that they make you pay in advance upon arrival so they are aware that no one will hire a lawyer to get compensated for the damage..... so I ask myself.... why ruin the reputation of a facility that I have known for years works and used to work well..... friends who stayed in previous years recommended it to me........ I still want to spend a few words for the guys (few and most of them foreigners who do not speak Italian) who try in every way to satisfy the customer with what they can do.... and Mrs. Mary at the reception who, even though she is aware of the disaster, tries to do her job in an optimal way........ I am sorry for all this.... and I am also sorry to write this extremely negative review but it is necessary for those who are preparing to book for the near future.... I sincerely hope that they resolve this situation but surely those who stayed like me during this period will not come back........ Worse hotel ever

Outdated and run down compared to online photos. Front desk staff were disorganized, dismissive, and rude. Several attempts to overcharge clients due to disorganized invoicing and staff were hostile when errors were pointed out. Witnessed a hotel staff yelling and insulting a client because they left a less than adequate Expedia review. Very unprofessional !!! and a poor way to develop customer relations.
