Bella in Sella at the Belvedere alternative accommodation. FABULOUS!

I was booked on a Bella in Sella trip as arranged by the Belvedere Bike hotel (a 2 minute walk away!). Initially, I was worried that I wouldn't get the full Belvedere experience but I needn't have worried. I basically used this hotel as a place to sleep. I occasionally got a coffee from here and sat in the lobby or close to the pool (a lovely space although in late May the pool was like a hot tub and not quite as refreshing as what I needed after a hot bike ride! We were gifted with a super hot week of sunshine though with temperatures daily in the late 20s to 30s. Perfect!My room was great. A large comfy and clean double bed and a little balcony that overlooked the front of the hotel complete with a small washing line which was useful when I needed to rinse any cycling kit! It was relatively quiet on the second floor.The bathroom in my room was FAB! A lovely shower, bidet but the loo was behind the door which was odd. Various times I would get up in the night, fumble to the bathroom and plonk myself on to the bidet by mistake!!The hairdryer provided wasn't great but I had brought my own.My only gripe was that there was very little in the way of tea and coffee facilities (no coffee machine but that would have been a bonus rather than an expected!), not even UHT milk sachets which would have been helpful when I got up before going to the Belvedere. However, the reception staff were all super helpful and there is a lovely coffee machine downstairs in the hotel lobby. One day when it wasn't working, the man behind reception took me to the dining room and made me a coffee from their other machine (as a guest of the Belvedere, I did not eat in the restaurant but it looked pretty good and similar to facilities in the Belvedere). I was also offered glasses of milk which I put in my mini fridge in my room.Also I had real issues with the AC. I never really worked out how to use it with the door card but even in the heat, I was not hot as I slept with my balcony door open. The AC did work and my room was usually lovely and cool!The lights were also a mystery! So many switches. It took me forever on the first night to switch off the lights or I would be plunged into darkness as I was trying to get ready for bed!!More my problem than theirs! All in all a lovely stay. Good morning. Your restaurant offers cheese, fruit and many sweet tasty dishes for breakfast. However, I expected more dishes with meat, which I like to eat in the morning. I have to write a minimum of 200 words haha. I WANT TO ADD that your hotel has a VERY... NICE..... SERVICE.Regards. This is an excellent hotel

I have just come back from a 4 night stay at this hotel in June. This is an excellent hotel.The staff were, without exception, warm, friendly, helpful and polite in every single interaction.We stayed in a suite room 116 which was spotlessly clean, with a huge shower and balcony and small additional living room. The bed was large and comfortable. Plenty of towels and bathrobes. The outside of the hotel looks small and unassuming but inside it is modern and stylish and well equipped with a small pool and comfortable seating areas. The lobby included a 24 hour honesty bar well stocked with drinks, snacks and ice.The location is great. It is central but not right in the thick of it. The beach is a few steps away. We went to Spiaggia 60 every day.I used the spa for 2 massage treatments. The massage therapist was very good and the spa area clean and calm.Breakfast was excellent. Attentive service and a great selection of fresh and home made produce.The hotel also arranged a free transfer to Rimini airport, and also an early breakfast due to our flight time.We had never been to Riccione before. It is a bustling beach town with mainly Italian families and couples. If we come back we will definitely be booking at the Hotel Select.Thank you for such a wonderful stay ??
