    Very accommodating and helpful!

I’ve read previous reviews just to be cautious during my stay but everything that other people were having problems with were fixed! They let me check in early at 12, when check in is supposed to be at 5, the receptionist spoke enough English to understand, they offered delivery from a local restaurant (which was amazing, might I add), and the shuttle (which is an extremely cheap way to get to the hotel at only €6) arrived early. So I would say the hotel has tried its best to improve. The rooms are not bad and kinda cute! If you don’t sleep without complete silence, the airplanes will get annoying but they can’t help that. It’s nice to be close to a bar so you can grab some coffee and a pastry in the mornings! If you’re trying to actually go out and see Rome, it’s not the best option because it’s either a taxi/Uber ride or a shuttle then train ride. If you’re trying to see Rome and decided to stay here, talk to the receptionist. He was extremely helpful in helping me get there! This is the perfect hotel to stay in if you have a night layover in Rome.

    Stay Away!!

    rating23 Mar 2019

I usually travel for living and stay in various type of BBs and hotels, I stayed in some really nice places and "by mistake" in some really bad places!! This hotel has to be the worst BB I have ever stayed in!! The Internet is so bad is is almost NON EXISTENCE!! very noisy from the petrol station and the airplanes landing and taking off!!Far away from the airport with NO possible travel only by taxi!very misleading by photos, and for sure NOT worth the money (maybe 20-25 Euro per night TOPs), Ohhh if you are driving along the road to this so called hotel be aware of the speed trap camera, if you do get snapped then this room will be more than the 4-5 stars hotels!!stay away from it unless you planned to stay in back packer HOTEL!! good luck

On the other hand it's hell to find. Drove through the airport's nightmare maze 2 or 3 times before finding Viale (or Via, but definitely NOT Vicolo) di Coccia di Morto off a roundabout at the lower lefthand corner of the airport. Approach roundabout on V. Lago di Troiano: Turn hard right onto C. do Morto and don't give up hope. Pass an AGIP gas station (yellow sign w/black 6-legged wolf) and keep on to the next gas sign: it's an upright black and gold rectangle with a wing-like logo and the word FUEL. Turn in there. To its immediate right is a cafe bar, very nice, and immediately to the right of that, shrinking into the background, is Airport One, which even folks at a nearby supermarket had never heard of. Park there and go through entrance arch and 50 feet down a little alley to phone-box sized reception on the left. Very nice people. Limited English. Get key and go a few feet further and there's a little strip of 6 or 4 connected cabins--all the winsome charm of a No-Tell Motel, and I loved it. I think of it as the Flight-Path Hilton as early-evening flights blasted overhead--but then suddenly stopped. Slept like a stunned ox. Decent bed, usual thin pillow. Small TV. I had #4. Each room has small patio out front with table and chairs, testament to owner’s sense of humor. Was going to take the 6euro shuttle in the AM but when the morning clerk offered to drive me for the same price, I accepted. Stayed Oct 2 '18. Would stay again.

    Weird experience

    rating15 Sept 2018

Ok first things first. I booked this hotel bcuz my flight was landing very late and I didn't want to travel late at night. Well the hotel is not close to the airport. Taxis were asking for €30. It was about a 15 minutes drive so I was mildly concerned since it was midnight and I didn't know where we were going.Secondly, the hotel is not called Airport one, it's called welcome hotel. So when the driver dropped me in the middle of nowhere with just one petrol station next to it which was also closed.I was already slightly scared bcoz of above-mentioned stuff and then I saw that the reception was locked and nobody was there. :|They had pasted a notice on the door saying my name and that I should go to room number 6.The rooms are out in the open, it's not a building. It could be a good thing or bad. Good coz they look like cute little individual cottages and bad coz I felt unsafe, but it was probably unreasonable fear. The key was in the door of my room but it took me 15 minutes to open the door, that too with the help of my neighbor who very kindly stepped out to help when she heard I was struggling. Apparently she also struggled with the same. However once I went in, the room was really nice and cosy. It was also very clean. I slept really well. But I was very thirsty and didn't know there was a fridge under a table stocked with water coz there was nobody to tell me that. I saw it in the morning. In the morning the guy at the reception apologised for my troubles and arranged for the shuttle bus to take me to the airport. When the bus got delayed he dropped me in his own car for only €5.So I'm really confused on how to rate the hotel. The room itself was great and the service, once I saw a living soul was good too but the distance is about 15kms from fumicino. Also the stuff at night was scary
