  Short break in Rome

  We stayed for a short holiday; it's not really close to the center but with the means that are nearby you reach it with ease '; nice apartment equipped with all the amenities'; The owner motorcycle available!   No reception, staff don’t answer phone, ROBBED

  B&b has no reception, no one came to deliver us our keys. No one answered the phone after calling many times. Had to wait before mail man helped us get our keys?. Shower didn’t work properly, also 20 minutes walk to nearest metro station. Lots of walking. Few days after arriving was robbed from our room, no breakage so expect it to be hotel staff as all windows were closed and doors locked before leaving. Took cash of €100!! Tried to contact the owner but didn’t answer phones again, didn’t see owner once of 4 night stay. Don’t stay here.

  My daughter and I stayed there for a week and a half. Roberto was very helpful-handing us the map of Rome and pointing us to historic sites on arrival and giving us tips on how to get the best out of Rome. the check in did take a bit of time so its best to call again the day before just to make sure they're ready for you. Breakfast was served across at a restuarant across the road but it was good to walk a bit. The rooms are spacious and clean-we had a nice view from our room. Do be careful-a few pick-pockets on the buses in the area. Otherwise its safe to walk-dont buy the train pass-most sites are easy to get to on foot. Its also very close to most piazza's and restuarants. I would most definately recommend this place.oh-and its easy on the pocket. we stayed at a hotel just few minutes from Al colosseo the first night and paid more for one night than we did for a whole week and more at Al colosseo!!

  Very central ! Rome by walk !

  First of all, the location is one exceptional!! When you get out of the building to the left is the Coliseum, right via nazionalle (one of the great avenues), in front is very small square populated with terraces and superb buildings! Breakfast is offered at a very populated cafe near the building (You will get one bon consuming per person per day, which includes a coffee and a croissant/sanwich - all products are delicious). Host (roberta) is very nice, and get help with anything! The rooms are very clean, recently refurbished, with private bathroom (very beautiful). Definitely next time I'll stay here again!!! I Recommend!!! It's in center! You can go everywhere by walking!

  Charming B&B near Colosseo

  Al Colosseo B&B was a perfect discovery with the best value for money I have been able to found! We were so well welcomed by Stefano, and met Michele the morning after. Fresh croissants or brioches (coming from the street bakery) were nicely waiting for us every morning with a simple tea or coffee.The room was perfectly clean, with a lovely view.The only bad point is that the room was poorly soundproofed (only the entry resounds)... But seriously, for the price, it really seems to be a detail...
