Location

The crossroads of the Four Fountains, where the hotel is situated, is one of the most interesting snippets of Rome, in the immediate vicinity of Piazza Barberini. Too often overshadowed by the monumental beauty of the Trevi Fountain, an iconic monument recently masterfully restored, this crossroads represents a strategic point, unique in all of Rome. At the intersection of four famous districts, represented by the four monumental fountains in travertine marble, turning in different directions it’s possible to see: the Esquiline Obelisk of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Sallustian Obelisk at Trinità dei Monti, the Quirinal Obelisk and the internal face of Porta Pia. A panoramic, characteristic and a centrality unique in all of the city make this hotel the perfect spot for holidays in Rome.

    Very disappointed with our stay . It’s up a very steep hill so not advisable for older people. And not for families as the rooms are very small GIADA FERRARI, Marketing at Al Manthia Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your review and your time.We are always looking for ways to improve our services, so feedback from our customers is always warmly appreciated.The property is located in the historic center, housed in a beautiful old building with all rooms completely renovated.It is certainly well known that Rome was built on seven hills, but in this case it is a simple and short climb.We're sorry to have received a negative comment about the road, which is certainly beyond our ability to resolve.Best RegardsHotel Al Manthia

    The rooms were clean and very roomy. The location was handy. Great variety for breakfast.The staff were amazing, helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and needs were met.Highly recommended and will stay there again hopefully in the near future.
