    Thank you for everything!;

    Loved our stay at Allegra's House Rooms!We had such a great time here during our trip to Rome. The location is super convenient – just a short walk from the Vatican and close to public transport, which made getting around the city really easy.The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the shower was great, and the A/C was a lifesaver after long days of sightseeing. There’s also a little fridge and coffee machine, which came in handy.Staff was so sweet and helpful – They gave us great tips on places to eat and what to see. Everything felt very personal and welcoming, way better than a typical hotel vibe.Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Rome!

    New, bright guesthouse near the Vatican

    rating20 May 2023

    We stayed here for 1 night, after completing the Via Francigena.Pluses:- Very new and clean- Quiet and secure- Lovely owners/hosts- Breakfast included (cakes and yogurt)- Lots of outlets by the beds- If you're walking the Via Francigena, it's a few streets away from the Vatican, and in a less touristy area- Excellent walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc- Excellent price point vs. other accommodation in the area- Small refrigerator in the rooms- Small shared kitchenette where you can make coffee, etc (where breakfast is served)Minuses:- A bit hard to find! There are 2 Allegra's Houses, and both are inside entrance tunnels, and neither have signage!Overall, highly recommend!

    Very close to the Vatican,

    We had a few issues with the booking as in they had no record of our reservation but great communication with the owners and sorted quickly . Lovely room with beautiful high ceilings and clean and excellent for location to the Vatican which was just round the corner. No parking outside but secure under ground parking near by. Few issues with the bed being lower at the head end, no extra pillows and very soft mattress. Our neighbours were also very noisy and the room above had a noisy dog. Breakfast was basic but lovely friendly staff.

    We recommend Allegra’s House for sure

    Our stay at Allegra’s House Caracciolo was very good. We had a perfect time at Rome and although at Allegra’s House. Alessandro and the rest of the team were really friendly and they tried to help us everytime. We asked two times if it's possible to have breakfast a little earlier and we were really happy and surprised that they found a way to make it happen. Allegra’s House is nearby a metro station which is called Cipro. From this station you get very simple to all relevant places. Cipro itself is nearby the Vatican so that you can get there with a walk. You can although travel by bus to Trastevere. It is very easy to get there.We recommend the Allegra’s House Caracciolo for everyone who likes to stay in a small but cosy home with personal contact. It is not that easy to find the entrance of Allegra’s House but with the phone number you can contact the team everytime.Thanks a lot for your care.We will come back for sure.

    A Great Little Guesthouse

    rating13 Apr 2019

    First of all, I really don’t like Rome, But, the location of Allegra’s House is a really great location to stay during your Rome visit. Close to Transit, both bus and subways. The Andrea Doria district is around the corner with shops and restaurant. The Vatican is with in walking distance, but it is a crowded mess. But the Allegra House is very clean, had a very comfortable bed and wonderful Italian breakfast. Suzana was so nice and welcoming. A couple of negative. Check in was a bit difficult, but text that owner. He was very responsive. The building is totally unmarked. But it worked ok. And two mornings I ran out of hot water in the shower. The wonderful made-to-order espresso made up for any shortfalls. We left a day early because we saw everything we wanted to see in Rome. The owner offered to give a a future night free in any of his places. That was very nice of him. Stay here, you will love this place.
