  Great location just near metro. Room was clean and tidy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. good breakfast.

  Staying over for the New Year for 4 nights. First thing to note for the less able the lift works to floor 5 but you have to walk another flight to floor 6. Day one we shot out and done sights seeing etc returned that evening and switch on the aircon to heating as it was 2c locally and nothing but cold air, immediately text management, someone would look tomorrow. Breakfast is served to your room on a tray with hot milk and you make your own coffee in your room to add to the said milk. Problem is from 6.30am house keep and other lodgers all want to talk outside the kitchen (which you don’t have access to) which is also outside your room! You also only get 2 bottles of water for your entire stay. The house keep is lovely chap and tried to resolve the aircon, failed. We were given an electric radiator, which was great but it was either on or off so at midnight it was 25/30c and we needed to wake to turn off or 2c in the morning that we again woke to turn on. Understandably it was NY so no one was working to repair, but management said someone was coming 2nd Jan, when we returned it was still not fixed and no comms from management. The bathroom fan is so noisy which come on with the light we had to use the side light instead. The front window over the main road allows noise in, so traffic, late night crowds and street cleaning can be heard and loud the early hours a light tremble from the metro system under the building. Because the heating did not work, the towels from the day before were still wet and had not been changed by room service, we wrote in and the following day the reply was help yourself in the hall way, not helpful and not punctual You do have a fridge but it has only got one socket between that and the coffee maker (espresso) that you have to make yourselves in the morning so you find yourself reaching around the back swapping plugs. Woodwork in the bathroom is starting to rot, cracks across the floor and lined with a cold Lino type finish which could only be compared to similar what a prison may have, walls are tarnished from chairs hitting and suitcases. Our room was small and given the 2 cases, 2 ruck sacks, a small double and a small coffee table and 2 chairs made the room not welcoming. Along with the heating not working, cold floor the bed has a small double with a metal be headboard and being 6ft1 when I turned at night I would wake from hitting my head on the edges. I learned to sleep in the bed, now having my feet hang off the edge!It was not somewhere I wanted to relax after have longs days in the city. There was no responsibility from management or apology from them at any pointOn the last day the shared lift broke too!I recorded the noise from the fan but videos cannot be uploaded!

  The property was truly central and very close to the metro. The staff were helpful and extremely courteous. The in-room breakfast was complete and satisfying.

  The room was super cute and the owner was very friendly. He even let us check in early. The only thing I did not like was that the beds were super hard.

  Cancellation and Communication was not easy/fun but Rude

  Contacting them for cancellation was not fun. I had to cancel (our whole Europe trip) due caring for a family member end of life. Cancellation was till Sept 8,and in Canada it was still September 8. They did not return my messages, I called them finally and was told rudely it was the middle of the night (because of time change) and told me to WhatsApp. I did, and didn't get a reply for a couple of days. And were not very kind. They said they'd try to fill the spot but didn't cancel the stay so not sure how that would work. They said they were too busy. So I had to cancel the stay and lost $900 CADI wish I had a better experience because I was hoping to stay when we rebook our trip soon. We will not rebook with them! All our other accommodations we booked elsewhere went flawless.
