The position is more than a dream. Staff is professional and friendly, breakfast rich and for all tastes. The view is amazing. Best option for your money. Special thanks to Shabir who works in the breakfast area, Ed and Jason from reception, all are quite nice. A pkace to return.

    Don’t stay here

Imagine the joy when you first get to a hotel that has beautiful pictures and looks so inviting. This place isn’t it. We were so excited for our trip to Rome and thought this place was in a great location to experience the Vatican Jubilee. We booked it through American Express Travel, a Triple room with an extra bed, and was the celebration after a two week trip through the Mediterranean. We wanted two beds as we are two women traveling together and wanted two beds. The room was as cold as a fish and not inviting and had one bed. When asked, the front desk “receptionist” ( as she called herself, not hotel staff) said there was nothing she could do. She said she didn’t have record of the request for two beds as it was made through Expedia though we assured her it was Amex…maybe they use Expedia behind the scenes. “Could you give us extra sheets and a blanket so we can make up the sofa bed”? “No, not til tomorrow as my colleague isn’t here”. I guess poor Carla doesn’t have anyone she can call to ask. It was one excuse after another from Carla, the “ receptionist “ who only knew how to say no. I’ve been in the hotel business as has my traveling companion and I have never experienced such lack of service from a hotelier. As for noise level…not good. And not from outside noise, the yelling and plate clattering came from inside the hotel. The service is awful, the smell not good, the noise level horrendous, the location not bad, and the room was not inviting in the least. Oh, and the lift takes forever, we waited 10 minutes, but at least they had one, I guess. And, no view whatsoever.

    An absolute gem

A treasure of a find for me and a friend who visited Rome for a few days. Clean, simple, and quirky, it felt like travelling back in time and staying in an Italian castle, in the very best possible way. On top of that, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooftop bar has a sublime view of the city, where you can see the likes of the Vatican; which was a pleasure, especially at night. On top of that, it was affordable and absolutely central to the Vatican, Pantheon, and Coliseum, and even the Spanish steps were less than a 25 minute walk away. I loved this place. My only very minor criticism was that the breakfast wasn’t great, but that was because it was a full English, and one can’t expect an incredible full English to English standards in another country.I will absolutely recommend this hotel to friends, and will definitely return here if I go to Rome again. Thank you for an excellent stay to all staff 🙏🏻

Fab little quirky hotel.Interesting decor but made a changeLocation is absolutely fabulous. Right next to Piazza Navona, near Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.Lots of lovely restaurants and places to chill and drink wine.Staff very helpful and couldn’t have been nicer. Room a wee bit dark and could do with a mirror, but spotlessly clean.

    Very good

    rating13 Feb 2025

The hotel is in a very convenient location near Piazza Navona. We liked everything. The room was clean, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the shower and toilet were also clean. They provide a shower kit, soap, and shower gel. The room was cleaned every day.I especially want to mention the housekeeper, who did an amazing job cleaning our room. She even folded our things neatly. I just want to say “wow “and a huge thank you to the staff, especially the housekeeping team. The restaurant staff was also great. The young man working there was very attentive, always smiling, and brought everything quickly. He is a very hardworking person. Also, thank you so much for the breakfast! There was a great selection of eggs and pastries. I think everyone could find something they like. There were a couple of downsides. First, the room was a bit dark, and we wished there was more lighting. It was difficult to do makeup, and there was no well-lit mirror in the room. The second issue was the construction work. The workers started very early in the morning, before 8am making noise, drilling, and hammering. So kind of we couldn’t sleep well for few days. And right now, for example, it’s 11:15 PM, and they are still working. We weren’t in the hotel during the day, so I don’t know what it was like then, but now we are trying to sleep after a long day in the city and at the Vatican, and they are still making noise, moving things in the elevator.Overall, it’s a great place with wonderful staff, and we truly appreciated the hospitality!”**
