    Great location

    rating02 Nov 2025

Our family of 3 stayed in a suite on our very short visit in Rome. We didn’t have a view and our room was split level with the sofa bed on entry and the larger bed upstairs where the bathroom was located. Location is great, right in the center of the tourist path. Great for when the crowds go home and you can enjoy the view of the Pantheon. Room was clean, great shower and we enjoyed the complimentary red wine. The highlight was the staff and exceptional service, thank you Khrystyna and Peidro for your help and suggestions, and for Giesopi.

Great hotel in the heart of Rome

    rating29 Sept 2025

This hotel was amazing. Our travel agent recommended it and I’m so glad she did. It’s located in the center of everything, right in the Pantheon square. Even though it’s the oldest hotel in Rome, the rooms are remodeled, modern, and well-appointed. But the real gem is the staff. Every one of them was absolutely amazing and made our stay even more special. Without us mentioning it, they recognized that it was my wife’s birthday and surprised her in the lobby with a cake. They really made her day feel special. Our room was a Pantheon view room, which was nice because I got pictures of the Pantheon very early in the morning with no one around. Most of the time the square is packed with people so that was a nice perk. We had early morning tours each day so we were early to bed and early to rise—if that’s going to be you I suggest you bring earplugs if you require quiet to sleep because the square is bustling late into the night with diners and street performers, and early in the morning with trash trucks and workers. Not a fault of this awesome hotel, just a fact of being in the middle of it all. Fortunately I brought mine and as soon as I put them in it was completely quiet. If you want easy walking access to central Rome, this is the place. I’d stay here again.

    Ideal Vacation Spot in Rome

    rating22 Jun 2025

This is the place to stay in Rome! You cannot beat the location and the rooms are modern with high end amenities. I especially was impressed by the superb breakfast that was extraordinary. I had the best coffee of my life! The barista deserves a tiara for her skill with coffee grinds. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful location for walking anywhere. The hotel in right next door to the Pantheon, but so quite too. The staff were very good, very caring and helpful. Loved the breakfast buffet. Beautiful, charming room on the second floor was perfect for myself and my granddaughter.

    Can’t beat that Pantheon view!

    rating21 Jan 2025

We fell in love with this hotel back in 2017, making this a tricky review to write. It’s like comparing apples with oranges! But we’d return to this hotel in a heartbeat - it’s in our favourite location in Rome. The hotel was renovated during Covid, giving it a completely different feel this time around. I remember terracotta floors, a quirky layout, and a more open lobby (the internal staircase has since been enclosed). The hotel is now carpeted, has a grey colour scheme, and the breakfast room has moved. It took a while getting used to the grey, but I’m guessing inspiration was taken from the Pantheon - some of the shades are a perfect match.Last time we stayed in an annexed Apartment. Our rooms had a small balcony directly facing the Pantheon (it’s one of our all-time favourite hotel memories for that very reason). This time we stayed in the hotel complex - still a fantastic view from a waist-height window, but there’s nothing like sitting at a balcony for hours with a glass or two of wine, watching the action below, the unforgettable sound of the pedestrian-only piazza buzzing through the air.Rooms 308 & 306 were comfortable, well appointed, stylishly decorated, and both had that amazing view. Our floor was a little slopey - charming evidence of this being the oldest hotel in Rome. The bathroom, whilst modernised, was a little disappointing. There was very little storage/bench space and no towel rails. (It would be good if hooks & rails were installed on the spare wall). There was also an occasional ‘drain’ smell. The service was consistently excellent - particularly at breakfast. (The only hotel during this trip that got a pot of tea right, each & every time.) The selection of food was good too. The seating was a little cramped though - our party of 4 chose to sit at different tables. It wasn’t too busy in January, but could be a bit squeezy during peak season. We stayed 4 nights, which gave us a few bonus inclusions: a bottle of bubbles, one free mini bar round, and a small fruit platter. In hindsight, the Covid carpet upgrade could have been better considered. Whilst good for noise dampening, it felt a little stale. Maybe it was because of winter - central heating & less fresh air circulating? I was surprised there weren’t any air diffusers or scented candles in the lobby/breakfast areas. There are so many fabulous landmarks to stay near in Rome. The Pantheon piazza has its own unique feel, and is within walking distance of all the major sights. I look forward to staying here again one day.
