This hotel is conveniently located only a few steps from the Appia Antica archaeological sight known as Regina Viarum. Rome - Ciampino Airport and the historical centre are easily accessible by car, both being just 7 km away.     1.Rooms1.1. DoorsFirst we could not unlock the doors - the bathroom's door, the room's door and the balcony's door. 1.2. LightsThere are 3 lamps and nothing more. 1.3.     If no bananas was the only issue it would have been an agreeable staying. The building looks nice from the outside and the entrance, though rooms are definitively in need of renovation (however, good the carpet is limited to the common hallways). Wall paper is old indeed and with daylight it looks dirty and on its way out. Breakfast is served until 9:30 am and not before 7…. Anyhow, it consists of a scanty amount of cold food: double choice labels cakes - jam - chocolate cream, stale muesli, half raw boiled eggs, pale ham and cheese, and a few croissants. Canned apricots and a couple of wrinkled apples, kiwi and oranges completes the seemingly live stuff. Not to mention that coffee from the multiple choice machine is the tastiest thing. 4 starts maybe a (long) time ago and definitively not a good deal… Seriously hope there is something better out there… Appia Park Hotel, Altro at Appia Park Hotel, responded to this review kind silsil17,thank you for sharing your opinion with the Tripadvisor community. I'm sorry it wasn't all to your liking, I would like to point out that breakfast is served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. (in line with the requests of our customers) and since we have an overwhelming majority of Italian customers, our breakfast is geared towards this target. Forguest who ask us to have breakfast earlier (early departure or other), we offer a choice between a breakfast box or a easy breakfast at the bar (coffee/tea/cake/croissants) at any time in the night. I hope to see you again in our hotel and send you my best regards.

    Poor food but good conf rooms

    We used this for our recent conference event. Good structure on the conf room and snacks during breaks were decent. Reception desk friendly. BUT very sorry to say the food is very very bad. I ordered pasta in my room but stated no pork after 45 mins it came with pork. Sent it back and they said they will make a fresh one but after 50 mins it came all dry because the pork was removed from the dish but parts of the pork was still visible in the pasta. That went into the bin. One night I had salmon and it was like chewing through rubber. The room is very average and its not 4 starts its more close to 3 star. So good for conf room but advise bring your own food. Sorry

    We were in Rome on a pilgrimage end of September 2018 and stay here for two nights. The food was not good even though they tried to accommodate our traditional food and their own traditional food was even worse. Staff were totally disorganised and seemed to be running around on circles. Would never stay here again.

    Having to deal with weekly trips to Rome, I always choose this structure that can always confirm itself at the top: for the quality of rest, the cleanliness of the rooms, the services and courtesy offered and the rich proposal at the restaurant.A praise and a special thanks to the room staff who can always satisfy the "celiac requests" with grace, education and sympathy !!! THANK YOUNot only will I keep coming back but I recommend it !!!
