    Very disappointing experience overall.

    Worst hotel experience I have had so far.The hotel had major renovation and construction works happening during the entire stay. Extremely loud drilling, demolition and construction noise made it impossible to properly rest during the day. None of this was clearly disclosed before booking, which is unacceptable.The breakfast was also disappointing. The selection was very limited and overall quality was poor. Only the sweet pastries and desserts were decent.To make things worse, the hot water stopped in the middle of taking a shower.Overall, the entire stay felt stressful and far below expectations. I would never have booked this hotel if the renovation works had been disclosed in advance.

    I've stayed at this lovely hotel three times in the last two months. It's part of the same group as other hotels in the Piazza Navona area, where I've always had a great experience. Hotel Arcangelo is located just a few meters from the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. Via del Corso and Piazza di Spagna are also just a few minutes away, with a lovely walk through the center. The hotel has a lot of early 20th-century charm, and its beautiful Art Nouveau style is a hallmark. The terrace is truly splendid, with a view of St. Peter's Dome. The room cleaning is excellent (both rooms and bathrooms are spacious), and the staff is always available and courteous 24/7. The breakfast, with fresh produce, is excellent and tasty.

    Very nice hotel near Vatican

    We booked this hotel last-minute, and the price was very pleasant - with a big discount!The room was wonderful: designed for three people, so for the two of us, there was more than enough space. It had a bathtub, a minibar, and extra blankets - everything we needed.All staff were extremely polite and always ready to help - the highest level of service! The breakfasts were also very good, served in a beautiful basement hall with an antique bar (see the photo).The location is simply unbeatable - just an 8-minute walk to the Vatican and about the same distance to Castel Sant'Angelo. The neighborhood is lovely, and the view from the window was also nice (photo attached).We even extended our stay for two more nights and moved to another room. The hotel gave us another last-minute booking discount (it was the last available room), which was a nice touch.The only minor downside was that in the new room (for two people), there was a slight knocking sound when the lights were turned on - the lamps seemed to affect the wooden fixtures, creating a bit of noise.Overall, I’d rate this hotel 5/5 - we really loved it and would happily stay here again!

    Affordable price considering the cost of accommodation in Rome.Reception staff were helpful and kind.Rooms are very small.The hotel looks like it was stuck in the 1960s.The heating in my room didn't work, although I only needed it for one day.Very limited breakfast.

    Hotel in an excellent location, everything very well looked after and welcoming. The staff worked very well to make our stay lovely. Comfortably sized room and new bathroom. The wonderful terrace overlooking St. Peter's dome.We will definitely be back in April.
