Location

The hotel is situated at the heart of the historical and commercial centre of Rome, opposite the opera and between the Roman museum and the exhibition centre. Numerous shops, bars and restaurants are in the hotel's immediate vicinity. The nearest public transport departs from a stop just 50 m from the hotel and there is also a train station within walking distance. Plenty of sightseeing attractions are within quick and easy reach. The transfer time to Ciampino airport takes around 40 minutes, Fiumicino airport is around a 45-minute from the hotel.

Facility

16 single rooms and 68 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     The bathroom was really good They were nice staff and we forgot are adapter and they had a spare one (we are English) . They were very welcoming and answered all are queries. The bed was really comfy and clean. There was air conditioning but it wasn't that good but they provided a big fan. Good value nice location and great parking

    High-priced hotel in Rome that is near the metro. The hotel is old but has received positive reviews for its convenient location and proximity to public transportation.The rooms are well cleaned but the reception is very old and smells awful.

    This hotel is permanently closed. When we arrived for check-in, we were informed that it had closed last month. We never received any notifications about the closure of this hotel, and the inside looked untidy. Try the nearby hotel so your next visit in Rome.

    Great location, lovely staff however the room we were given was quite dated, awkward with the room placement , seems accessible from the roof so didn't feel too comfortable with opening the windows at night. Sheets were stained and didn't seem like 4* hotel standard, however the room was cleaned daily and quite well by the cleaners!We had no hot water in our room for our first 2 days which was quite uncomfortable, but the hotel did fix this issue eventually (seemed like an overall plumbing issue)Rooms have fridges which is handy, and hotel lets you keep luggage in the hotel securely on day of checkout :)

    We have just returned from our trip to Rome and our stay at the Hotel Mondial. This is NOT a 4 star hotel at best it is a 2 star. We arrived on Oct 15th and were told there was NO AC. They knew this before we arrived and did nothing to assist us in finding another hotel. We were told we could cancel and go find somewhere to stay for 3 days. We got a fan and was told to open the windows at night. The sofa in the lobby is OLD and with sunken cushions, the bar is CLOSED, the beds are HARD. There is NOTHING good about this hotel except the restaurant next door has good food. Hotel MondialOct 15 - Oct 18
