This pleasant hotel is located in the centre of Rome with the main train station (Stazione Termini) just 150 metres away. It is situated on a quiet side street and only minutes away from the Santa Maria Maggiore church.

    Really small rooms Felt clostrafobic and also very hot, all they can do is turn ac off, windows open and pidgins

    After an exhausting 12 hour overnight flight to Rome, we were so glad to get to the Ariston hotel. Even though we were too early for check in, reception was happy to organise our room. After a short wait in the very comfortable sitting room we were shown to our room. It was a very pleasant surprise to see the very well appointed room with ample closet space, comfortable couches and superior bathroom facilities. The breakfast next morning was excellent. The staff are very friendly and professional and we lacked for nothing.

    Room is outdated and not like the pics. It looked like a rush job to complete. Sloppy paint job, terrible caulking, walls were dirty. Bathroom had a constant unpleasant moldy odor. Close to the train station which is ideal but constant street noise makes it hard to sleep due to defective windows. Thankfully only stayed for 1 night. Breakfast was subpar with limited options. There are better hotels out there for the same price range.

    Booked as flight and hotel package, but probably could have got it cheaper booking directly with hotel and flights separately. A good middle range hotel.Great location from main train station and to reach many attractions by foot or public transport. A comfortable room with adequate space. Kept to very clean level by friendly staff. Yes, noise heard from outside hotel, but to be expected given central location of a very busy city as was the unsavoury characters that are attracted to such areas. It was quiet inside hotel mind and felt safe. A fair amount of tastes catered for at breakfast, with some unusual items,but it certainly filled us up for a day of sightseeing.
