    Give these Beds a try!

    We stayed in Rome for 3 days after a Mediterranean cruise. S-i-L had not been to Rome before, while the wife and I had. So she booked a 3-day post-cruise extension from the tour operator and had her hotel stay included. Not wanting to pay the retail rate for her hotel, we stayed around the corner at the Augusta Lucilla Palazzo. Our goal was to stay close to her and the Termini area. This hotel was quite a find for us. We booked a standard double room and it was fine. Not large, but you know, Europe. But what we want to note for the record was: THE BED. I don't think we've ever stayed at a hotel that had such a great bed. Not only was it comfortable (just the right amount of softness for her and the right amount of firmness for me), but it was adjustable and had a vibrator to boot! After two weeks of forced marches on excursions during the cruise, elevating the feet & legs was a real bonus. The desk staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Roomkeeping was immaculate. If ever back in Rome again, we will most certainly consider staying here.

    The hotel is in a great location, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, close to Termini and easy walking distance to the Colosseum. By North American standards, the room and bathroom were small but clean and comfortable. The bed was soft enough to get comfortable, but firm enough to sleep well. The people were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good as well.

    The hotel is clean and comfortable with a good location close to the train station, but it does not have anything special going for it. The rooms are functional and lack any charm. The bathroom shower is small. The breakfast is standard fare.

    Cheap and easy hotel. Staff were great especially Jumer who went above and beyond. So grateful for him. I’m not sure where the other negative reviews come from, yes the area is not as prestigious but if you want top class luxury then you won’t pay this fair price. The area felt a little unsafe a night but no worse than any other city, just use your common sense. Would recommend this place to stay for your holiday.
