  A most pleasant stay in Rome

  We had a very comfortable stay here, we had everything we needed but what is most outstanding about Trastevere rooms is Fabio. the proprietor. His hospitality and customer service is second to none and he was extremely helpful and welcoming. We loved our stay here and would recommend.

  I've read some of the negative reviews and I believe a lot of these people expect a 5 star hotel for a 2/3 star price. The price you pay and what you get here is exceptional. If 1 pillow is not enough use the tongue in your head like I did and ask for an extra one, it's provided immediately. If the shower curtain blows inwards just pull it across tightly and hose the side and it will stick to the wall, no more shower curtain problem. We used the sockets at the side of the bed for charging laptop and phones, we always pack an adaptor so we can use 2 appliances if necessary at the same time. If you want pure luxury then book a hotel that cost 4 times the price.

  About 2 months ago, planning my trip ahead, I made a booking to stay at this place. When I did so, I message the property because I was taking a late flight, therefore, arriving after midnight. I even asked for taxi services, and they reply back with solutions. Now (Monday 30th May), 4 days before my trip, booking.com had contacted me because the property sent me a message. The message stated they couldn't receive me because they can't do late check-ins. They misread my message and thought I was arriving at noon, and I have to cancel my booking. Of course, they said they would not charge me any cancellation fees (which has to be obvious), but the problem is that they didn't offer any solution. I asked for compensation, or to place me somewhere else, like a business/partner hotel they would know, or anything. No solution. Of course, now looking for a hotel room 4 days before my trip, there is nothing in central Rome at the same night rate as per my original booking. Now, I will have to pay a lot more money to find a place or pay money to change my flights. The extra money that Trastevere Rooms didn't want to offer me when it was them who put me in this mess.

  I loved this place! It is very cozy, the personal is so kind and present, the location is perfect. It has everything you need for a beautiful stay in Rome. 🙏❤ I really recommend this hotel to everyone.

  A great location. Step outside and catch the number 8 tram into the centre of Rome or the number 3 tram to the colleseum. Walking distance into Centro but so much to see in the Trastevere area. You will be spoilt for choices of restaurants or just wander the streets and explore historical sights, churches, shops etc. Very good wifi - one of the best in our 5 weeks in touring Italy. Comfortable beds and good air conditioned rooms to rest during the heat of the day before setting off again for the evening stroll and dinner.Great hosts who go out of their way to be accommodating. Thank you. Will come back here again if and when the opportunity arises.
