  Booked this hotel in July via Expedia. Had a message today from the Hotel to say that they are having "restructuring work" done from 10th May to May 31st and therefore the room is unavailable. Having checked 3 websites (Expedia, Trivargo and Booking.com) this hotel is still available for many dates when the restructuring is due to take place. Once cancelled the hotel room reappeared on Expedia for £461.00 instead of the £278.00 we paid. To get an equivalent room in Rome for the weekend is now going to cost around £600.00. The reason we booked early was to get a decent price.Obviously the hotel thinks that it sold the room too cheaply and came out with some shaggy dog story about restructuring work!! Expedia really couldn't care and said they have no control over what the hotel will do.It would seem that this hotel think it is acceptable to cancel a booking and then re sell the room for more money whilst leaving us high and dry.Shocking way to do business!PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU BOOKED IN ADVANCE!!!!

  Lovely place to stay

  My daughter and I stayed here in June, and it was wonderful. Giordano, was an awesome host, he arrainged for airport pickup and drop off for us. The B&B is located on the top floor of the building but has a small elevator to take you up. It is very clean, quite and nice. It is close to Vatican city, and the metro is just a few steps from the front door. Lots of resturants and shopping. We walked everywhere but the Metro is simple to navigate. Would stay here again!

  Lovely small B&B near the Vatican

  This B&B is on the top floor of a historic apartment building (there is a lift) a short walk from the Vatican. The metro station (Ottaviano San Pietro) and a tram stop is right outside the building, there is also a street market, a cinema, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The B&B itself is clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The owner is very helpful and serves a nice breakfast in the morning.

  I spend a week for holiday in Rome last week.for Easter holidays.I stayed at Bed an Breakfast II Tesoro (double bed) which it is in the center of all attractions for every place you can visit.Few minutes walk from the Vatican, restaurants, shops and everywhere you need to visit because of it so easy to visit them.One can take a metro exactly in front of this accommodation The staff was very amazing and helpful.Everywhere is clean and very comfortable.I recommended this accommodation to everyone who is going to spend a holiday in the heart of Rome.Here I would like to thank very much to the person who took care of us at this amazing accommodation.Thanks a lot.

  An amazing apartment, an amazing host!

  Me and three of my friends booked a hostel close to Termini, but when we came, found out it was awfull and located in a dangerous area. So we spend the whole day searching for a place to stay for two days and finallly, already desperate, we found this place - Il Tesoro. And it was so amazing, that it was fully worth all our strugglings! Rooms are so clean and nice, the owner of this apartment is one of the nicest people in the world, but the best thing about it is definetely a rooftop with an amazing view on Vatican city! Moreover, the location of this apartment is very cool: when you leave the door of the building, you need only 5 steps to get into the subway (what is really cool when you have much luggage or just explore the city a lot). And the area around is beautiful, there are a lot of shops and cozy cafes near! You can ask the host about everything and he will help you. He cooks hinself and the breakfast was increadible! It's defenitely one of the best places I have ever been to!
