The hotel was built in 1900. Guests have a choice of 2 single rooms and 23 double rooms located in two 5-storey buildings with lifts.     Avoid ! I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel, especially if you are a female traveller. My experience was extremely disappointing and felt very unsafe.Basic safety measures that you would expect from a reputable hotel were either lacking or poorly enforced.Secondly, this hotel does not live up to its claimed 4-star rating. The facilities are outdated, the cleanliness was below standard, the rooms/bathrooms very small and the whole hotel smelt of sewage.The only positive experience was the nice young gentlemen that greeted me on arrival but the older gentleman that replaced him was rude, angry and dismissive.There are far better and safer options available in Rome, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone—especially solo female travellers.

    My friend and I stayed here at the beginning of March 2026, The hotel is located in a bit of a rougher area of the City, lots of Graffiti which is a shame, but is close to the Termini Train station, the trams and the Metro (underground). The staff were really lovely and helpful and advised us how to stay safe, probably as we were female. The room was small, quite dated but functional. The balcony faced onto the road which was quite noisy so take ear plugs if you want a good night’s sleep. The beds were ok, a bit hard, made every day and they provided clean towels and cleaned the room. The bar was not open, but they did put some items in the mini bar that you could buy. I think once this would have been a lovely hotel it’s just a little bit tired. I do think the price was good for the location. 20 mins from the Colosseum walking or 10 mins on the Tram. Do watch out for pickpockets on the Metro and Trams/buses etc. Have had a great few days.

    We were made to wait at reception for around 10 minutes. The person on the desk was wearing tracksuit bottoms and sandels when he eventually served us. Not very professional. There were many faults in the room, Dirty bedding, broken electric sockets, no plug in the basin, stained toilet, limescaled shower, bare wires on the hairdryer, the lift doors didn't work on the ground floor. The breakfast area was not how you see it in the photos. It was in a outside room, probably due to the time of year. There was large amounts of laundry in bags blocking the fire escapesThere was no bar area set up so we couldn't get drinks in the evening, and the sun terrace was empty of furniture. There was so much noise in the hotel from large groups of students that kept us awake to late in the night. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, we have stayed in Rome before in a 4 star hotel and this is not one of them

    Small hotel in an excellent location, don’t be put off by the outside and the road etc, the inside is stunning. Rooms small but very well decorated and high ceilings. Only issue in the room was plug sockets, only one available so take an extension lead. Breakfast was continental but good variety and good quality. Small bar facility and good prices. Good outside space but as it was February, too cold to take advantage. Hotel was spotless. Hotel reception could not be faulted, especially Rohit, he was a star, always there to help, direct and advise. Couldn’t ask for anymore.

    This hotel is not 4 star, however it was clean. The area of Rome it's in is unkempt it's covered in graffiti and looks very tatty but we felt safe walking out of the hotel . The fridge in our room did not work . breakfast was basic. A 5 to 10 minute walk to the main train station that can take you into Rome all the airport or other destinations in Italy, and a five minute walk to the Metro ,again that can take you into Rome.We had warm water in our room every day and clean bathroom ,and a comfy bed. No tea or coffee making facilities we're available in the room so you need to take your own.Staff for pleasant and helpful. Is it value for money? I think that depends on what you paid on what you think of it personally I know it is not a four star hotel more like a two..
