Location

This sophisticated hotel is centrally located near to the main railway station. Copious shops and other entertainment attractions as well as many of the city's unsurpassable tourist sites are easily reached on foot.

Facility

2 junior suites, 32 single rooms and 84 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry.     Great base for our first family holiday.

    The Best Western Santina was a great base for our first family holiday. The location was so close to transport links and the main tourist attractions were walkable, making it very convenient. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. It had a comfy bed and everything we needed for a relaxing time away. I had contacted the hotel in advance making arrangements for a cot for our baby and quickly received a very polite reply reassuring me everything would be in place. The welcome package for our little one was an unexpected surprise. she loves the little teddy and the washing products came in useful. The colouring book with the same artwork as in the hotel was a nice touch and reminder of our stay.It was lovely being greeted each morning by Patrizia and the team with a big smile, cappuccino and espresso. Breakfast had a big selection, with some different things to try each morning. We had opted for half board to make evenings easier with a baby. Tiziana made us feel extremely welcome offering recommendations for food, wine and places to visit. The menu had a good selection with the creamed cod, fried artichoke, Saltimbocca and all of the Roman pasta dishes being our favourites. We were encouraged to request dishes that we wanted to try and the chefs kindly added gnocchi to the specials menu for us. It was delicious, as was all of the specials we tried, especially the ravioli, spezzatino di manzo (which I will be making at home) and the homemade tiramisu. Martina, Sofia, Ekaterina and Federica and all of the team at the hotel were amazing with our baby and so welcoming that they all made our holiday so much better than we could have hoped it would be.

    Lovely hotel with exceptional staff.

    This hotel was booked when our original hotel located centrally to the tourist attractions did not reopen in time, was apprehensive at first as its location is bit further out than we would have liked, however we enjoyed our stay so much that we will be booking again for spring 2027, this is a fabulous hotel, with amazing staff, from the moment we arrived to departure time the team were exceptional, special mention to the reception team and breakfast staff, not only is breakfast lovely but you are made to feel so welcome, it’s so refreshing to see staff smiling, engaging in conversation and being so helpful, it really made our stay, as for the other bits, rooms / bathrooms very good, beds and pillows extremely comfortable, and finally the location, it really works, no more than 20 mins away from Piazza Venezia, Trevi fountain and Colosseum, the walk down Via Nazionale is pleasant with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, would really appreciate it if the management pass our thanks to the team.     It is located close to the train station. The WiFi connection is stable. The breakfast is bountiful and delicious. The ambience is clean and tranquil.     but there are too many common stupid issues inside rooms 1) rooms are too dark, even we turned on all lights2) why put one big heavy steel chair (no wheel type) inside the room, occupying the available space, the seat is not easy to be moving a little bid,3) no storage drawer underneath the working desk, unless you don't want your guests staying more than a day, we then put all misc items spreading everywhere on desk4) no night dimmed light after we turned off all lights5) only one cloth hook above the toilet seat, no hook inside bath room, how we could hang the cleaned underwear, and how we could hang two used towels6) the shower door is stuck on its rail, hardly to be slided side to side7) the most stupid is the water faucet at the washing basin, the water outlet is too short and situated too close to the back, the water then spreads over and wet everywhere,8) too low and unstable water pressure at level 8, some moment was short of cold water, just dripping with hot water, this is very terrible.This is entirely damaged the Best Westin name Marketing RGR Hotels, Proprietario at Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina, responded to this review Dear Guest,thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review.
