    Better than expected

    Stayed for one night prior to flying home --- short , straight walk from Rome Termini, to me a large hotel compared to what we were used to staying at in Italy ( 2 proper elevators :)) , it has an "old world" look and room definitely not brand new but everything clean and in proper order. In my opinion the breakfast was typical to what we encountered in other hotels in Italy- eggs, meat, pastries, cornettos, meat/cheese. We didn't stay out late, so can't comment on neighborhoodl after 9pm, but before then was fine, plenty of restaurants nearby.

    On this trip we wanted a hotel reasonably close to the main station, this fitted the bill.A very short walking distance and easy to find. Excellent quality accommodation and friendly, helpful desk staff. A traditional hotel, and in good order. Location was stone throw from the Metro so easy to navigate. Only one, and only one, criticism was that breakfast presentation and content was dull, limited choice- compared to others on this trip.Would book again for location, quality and price.

    Very enjoyable stay in Rome,used the railway station fifty metres away to travel to Ostia AnticaStaff at hotel very present and engaged with their work Very comfortable sufficiently spacious double roomI regret did not use restaurant as it had substantive menu not all fish or not all,pasta like outside We had booked breakfast in buffet lounge

    Hotel was very nice, clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Located steps away from the train station and subway. Lots and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Within a tourist area but doesn't feel like it. Security on the door. Breakfast is pentiful and delicous. Complimentry wine and water in the room. Room was spacious for Italy. Beds comfortable. Highly recommend. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

    Very nice hotel in a good location. Our room was spacious and clean. The thermostat worked well and kept the room comfortably cool in the hot summer weather. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in answering questions. Breakfast was included in our stay and the buffet was very well appointed with a lot of options. The only negative that we had was with the shower in our bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathtub had an odd layout which had the overhead shower head located at the end of the bathtub (as is normally found), however, the bath faucet stuck straight out from the side of the tub. My wife ended up with a large bruise on her leg after hitting the faucet trying to rinse herself off under the shower head. Just a word of warning to be careful!We would have no hesitation in staying here again if we visited Rome.
