  Terrible and SHOCKING experience at Bon Ton Suite. On the first night after using the toilet, I turned the handle to leave and it would not open. It was evidently broken to begin with and there was absolutely no way of unlocking the door from the inside. I was stuck in the small bathroom, shouting for help out of the window to surrounding appartments for almost an hour, but no one heard. Thankfully my friend then arrived back to the room and was able to let me out from the outside. I was panicked because I had no idea how long I would be locked in and it was very claustrophobic. This is a HUGE health and safety hazard. Imagine if someone had been travelling alone, they would have been there until someone eventually came to find them.When I reported this to the receptionist in the morning (there was no reception at night), he showed no customer service skills. He was dismissive and disbelieving of what happened, and annoyed that we didn't report this immediately after it happened the night before. After a lot of back and forth, the hotel eventually gave us 20% off of only one night.We were also highly disturbed by this note pinned to the door. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel, but I did not sleep peacefully after seeing this..... (see image)

  Stayed here during Easter and was as described. Quite basic, but had everything we needed, hairdryer, mini fridge, shower, wardrobe etc. Location was about a 30min walk from the main attractions but this is what we expected and there were plenty of nice restaurants within a 10min walk of the hotel.The only thing I would say is that make sure you have the codes to enter the building before you arrive. We booked through Love Holidays and because of this didn’t receive an email telling us how to access the building from the owners, so contact Bon Ton Suites before you go! The bed was not very comfy but after asking for extra blankets all was ok.Would recommend for a budget stay in Rome.

  Been there for 3 nights, although some of the reviews with thin walls was true it was not unpleasant The whole building was clear the room alsoSmall bathroom corridor And the location very convenient if you make some research for bussesThe check in was easy and the staff provided many informations also very cooperate I will return for sure

  I can't rate this place high enough. For the money I paid (a cheap price) I was expecting a no thrills bit of a dump. I was wrong. It is no thrills but it's far from a dump. The building is indeed elegant as described. The old lift is like something out of the movies. It's on the 6th floor of the building. The building was so quiet. The room wasn't very big but big enough. Small double bed (I was solo travelling) which was comfy. Small tv in room, kettle (very important to us English) with tea, coffee, sugar updated daily for free. Room cleaned everyday, change of bedding, towels etc. Just get a carton of long life milk from shop for your time here. Location is very good. 5 minutes to Termini (I used this as my base for travelling everywhere) and shops and places to eat nearby. 15 minutes walk to Colosseum, 50 to Vatican (or 14 euro in Taxi). Walls very thin but most of the time other guest on my floor were very quiet and respectful. I didn't have a balcony but the windows opened up so much it felt like having a balcony. Lovely wooden blinds that open fully or just a touch. I really enjoyed having a tea and smoke (ecig) out the window of a night. Not much of a view but very European. Block opposite but you can see above it to a nice skyline in background. I rarely see any staff tbh as I was out early am before someone manned the reception (09.30) and back way later than they left (15.30). I did meet 1 girl on reception, her name was Martina. She was the most helpful person I've encountered that are accommodation staff. She helped me with a problem with a Lazio football ticket. StubHub messed my original order and instead of an eticket it had to be paper and delivered by UPS. Martina helped me with the phone calls and making sure the ticket arrived. This accommodation is 1 train (4 stops to Flamenio from Termini and 1 Tram (25 mins from Flamenio) away from the Stadio Olimpico. Very suitable. Oh and Martina even helped me tape a rip in my coat. Little things like that leave a good taste in the mouth. All in all this was a lovely base for some serious travelling. Good location, good cleanliness, good staff and well organised. I had no problem at all. Highly recommend.

  Guest suite in great location for shopping, tours, restaurants etc.Anastasia extremely sweet and professional, would definitely recommend. Room clean and serviceable. Bathrooms also clean and well maintained. Quiet at night and great view of the street.
