This quiet and clean hotel is centrally located close to Termini train station. From here guests are able to enjoy underground and bus connections to all the attractions of the Eternal City. The hotel was built in 1900. 6 junior suites, 4 suites, 4 single rooms and 26 double rooms are available to guests. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     The Perfect Place to Stay in Roma

    I just returned from a six day. Stay at hotel Cambridge in Roma. Everything was perfect. Everybody was so helpful and accommodating, and they even helped me learn a few words in Italian to make the experience better. I highly recommend hotel Cambridge to anyone traveling to Rome and wants to be treated like a part of the family. Thank you to everyone. Neil room 18.

    Basic hotel near Termini Station with fantastic staff

    I rate my stay a 3.5 out of 5. This hotel is certainly not luxurious, but it makes up for this with the very friendly and helpful staff. They gave me some great recommendations for dining out and assisted with taxi bookings. The room was very basic but was air conditioned and quiet. The bed was a bit hard for my liking, but that comes down to my preference. The hotel is also walking distance to Termini and to a supermarket which is handy. There is also a laundromat located in the same street, which I did not use. The tourist tax has to be paid in cash, so have some euro handy when you check in.

    Comfortable hotel near Termini station

    Comfortable hotel, with nice sized rooms and bathroom. The bed was really comfy although the bedding had a couple of stains on it. Towels were replaced daily even though there is a sign up in the bathroom asking you to help the environment by reusing the towels. The reception staff are not overly friendly and just give one word answers, however this did not bother us as we were out and about all day and didn’t need anything. They ask you to hand in your key every time you leave the hotel which is a bit inconvenient. The tourist tax which is paid on arrival has to be cash, they will not accept card.The breakfast was pleasant enough, you get a coffee with a croissant and then some Melba toasts and a bread role…all sweet, nothing savoury. The hotel is really close to Termini station and the Castro Pretorio metro which is really handy for sightseeing. Thankfully the hotel looked after our bags on the day of departure so that we could make the most of the morning.

    I stayed with my family in this hotel for 3 nights. Our room was very small and the structure is very old. Our stay was very unfortunate: the soap dispenser and the shower broke. The hotel replaced the dispenser but underestimated the problem with the shower. We immediately informed the hotel that water was leaking copiously under the shower but, only when I showed a video the following evening, the problem was taken seriously. It was very regrettable when the hotel suggested our responsibility for the breakage and did not offer spontaneously any solution. Please be aware that breakfast is not available at the hotel and the rooms are not equipped with a kettle.

    Noisy room drainpipe running through wall behind bed.

    We have stayed here for years, but never again. In the wall behind our bed was a constant running drain. It was so loud I couldn't sleep. I thought I'd relax and have a bath. From the bath you could see a rim of brown in the toilet. I was horrified. I left feedback and asked that we be contacted. No one contacted me. It was like nobody cared. Very sad.On a positive note, the restaurant was amazing for dinner (we think it is run independently). Service and food were outstanding.
