  It is very close to the train station and VERY affordable! The rooms were clean and perfect for a budget holiday. The staff was nice, There was even an in room safe, which was very convenient. Just before we had to leave Rome I fell down stairs and twisted my ankle. The staff was very helpful and helped us to a hospital. This is the perfect base for a holiday in Rome.

  If you do not speak any Italian, staying here, English only is going to be a problem when asking for things / information. As is common in Rome, this budget hotel is located few floors up from the ground level of a building with other hotels on other levels. Room had small table but staff could not get any chairs. Had a small safe. Did not try wifi. Getting in and out of shower can be a dangerous step. Same with toilet. Both raised about 6inches off the floor (no reason for it). Only one small towel rail.Room for another. Had to tolerate noise from school kids housed in another hotel upstairs for one night. Otherwise quiet, clean place. Room serviced daily. Takes a bit of getting used to the old, very small but efficient lift as long as other people follow instructions to close its doors when getting out. Street stalls, supermarket, laundry short walk away. 10 min walk to Termini area for food. Watch out for cars even on pedestrian crossings. Found it safe area to walk at night.

  I was welcomed by a very nice young man, who was not italian, of course... The building is very old but it is in an area with access to almost everything. Very close to Termini Station. The rooms are small. The telephone was broken. The main problem is that the building is residential and commercial and the dwellers do not like the "ins and outs" of the guests.

  Worst first impression of Rome

  We arrived around midnight, beginning of Feb, with 0 degrees C outside... as well as inside! The window of a non-heated room was wide open, to get rid of the smell of the sigarette smoke! No additional blankets, and when concierge brought the heater, it cut off the lights on the whole floor, so he took it away and we had to put on all our clothes (including gloves!!) just to survive the nightNo wonder, next morning we were out of there. In fact, we found a better place just 2 blocks away (hence closer to Termini) - for the same price!I am not a 'picky' traveller, but even during my packipacking trips I haven't been to a worse place

  the bathroom is small,they could provide more toilet paper too.we stayed in cold period and there was no extra blanket in the room.we did not have breakfast included so i cant rate this service but the overall impression of the hotel was not nice.for sure i wont be going back there.
