  We booked CENCI b&b on 13-14 of may for one night , We were traveling by train from Milan , and our train got delayed by an hour , so we arrived in Rome around 22.45 and because we were late 45 min the emenual in cenci b&b refused toTake us in, we gave them loads on notice that we gonna be late but he gave no care and refused us in. And the train station is only bout 5-10 min with a taxi from the accommodation.So we had to search for emergency accommodation in the middle of the night . What a awful experience, do not recommending this place , imagine if there would be ppl who wouldn’t able to afford emergency accommodation and had to spend night on the street.We had 3 different places we stayed and none of it was this type of experience.

  Pictures and description are misleading.

  The photos and amenities are misleading. They does NOT offer free breakfast, nor laundry, the place is way more modest than in the pictures. Location is very centric but therefore very noisy. Not recommended. Person in charge was friendly though.

  Bumps along the way, but a beautiful apartment

  This was the first place we stayed after landing in Rome with no sleep on our overnight flight. My husband and I expected to check in at a lobby desk. But there was no lobby, just an apartment door like an airbnb. So we had to track down Cenci, who didn't answer his phone for about one hour. We waited with our suitcases outside the apartment hoping that someone would let us in. On the up side, we enjoyed staying in the annex room for 3 people, which was really spacious and nicely decorated, prettier than the pictures. We assumed that there would be breakfast, but when I texted Censi about breakfast, he replied "no food, just sleep". Not a great communicator and I would not go back.

  Stay Away. Worst experience ever.

  Room was so bad we just left the property few minutes after arrival. We tried to contact the property to ask for some sort of refund but there was no reply. Instead we were marked on the booking site as a no show. We informed the guy who gave us the keys that we were leaving. The booking site did not help much either. When we arrived in this old building which houses these two rooms we were guided to our room to leave our suitcases. The tiny room was not ready so we had to return later. By the way you need 4 keys to access the room. The room still looked shabby and not clean. The room is old, very small with little room to move around. The tiles leading to the room were all damaged. Felt like walking into a hotel room in a horror movie.Only good thing about this tiny room is the location but we stayed in other suites at similar prices in central locations around Rome. The 1/5 is for the location as the room deserves a 0.Thank God we managed to find a room at Hotel Vite in Via della Vite which helped us in to ruining our holiday.

  The location of the hotel is nothing to comment on, the Trevi Fountain is on the corner! Simple b&b, with simple breakfast, but the location for exploring the city makes up for it. The owners were friendly in giving tips about the city.
