    Superb location, nice rooms!!

    rating01 Mar 2026

We have just returned from 3 days in Rome. Firstly, the location of the accommodation was fantastic, we couldn't of asked for better, literally on the same road as the Spanish steps and maybe a 5 min walk at most. The street is lovely and full of very nice shops. The room itself was very nice and a good size, had everything we need, including a safe which was free to use, which was a nice touch. The staff were all very helpful and always pleasant and smiling and helped when we needed. The breakfast included was ok, its a bit of a set menu so if you like the freedom to choose then maybe dont include the breakfast but for us it was good enough to get us going for the day. It is located 3-4 mins away in a cafe rather than on-site but we didnt mind.I really cant complain at all, we was very happy with Chic & Town Luxury rooms and would stay again if we visited Rome.

Disappointing Experience for a Supposedly Luxury Stay

    rating06 Dec 2025

Our experience at Chic & Town Luxury Rooms in Rome was unfortunately very disappointing. Despite its name, the hotel does not live up to the concept of luxury. The rooms were dirty and lacked any sense of comfort or elegance. The WiFi did not work, which made our stay even more inconvenient. The staff seemed unwelcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the place was far from friendly or inviting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and high-quality service in Rome.

The photos make this place look better than reality

    rating07 Apr 2025

Boy the photos make this place look a lot better than reality. I got a basic double room that redefines average. Dark, kinda creepy with a tiny crowded bathroom. The shower stall was a cramped box. Shower floor felt slippery and there is nothing to grasp to steady an exit from the stall. The rooms are accessed by a tiny elevator that was just big enough for two people with luggage. There is no reception before 8am or after 8pm. Be sure to call for instructions on getting to your room if you arrive after 8pm. Rome is generally very expensive these days. We stayed in luxury accommodations in Sicily for half the price of Chic&Town. On another note, Rome is incredibly crowded perhaps because this is a Jubilee year. Major attractions are swarming with tourists. If you don’t mind crowds, you’ll do fine. If you do, then go to Torino or Rieti or Perugia instead.

    Perfect room in perfect location!

    rating10 Mar 2025

We arrived on a Saturday with a really lovely welcome from reception who gave us a map and circled all that we needed to know- thank you!!It could be tricky to find as no very obvious signage to keep historical features externally which is stunning imo.We loved our room, big enough, gorgeous slipper bath, comfy bed, painted high ceiling and window with nice basilica view. We did have a fridge with bottled waters, was told they would be replenished but they weren’t, kettle, bread, jam and pods for coffee station in hall. Our second night back we had no bath towels or tea bags but managed to locate some. Great location in the heart of everything really, within easy reach of termini, Spanish steps and Trevi, posh shops! The breakfast in a local cafe was great…..first omelette in a sandwich I’ve ever had! Croissants amazing and staff welcoming and friendly. The only down for us was waking to drilling at 07:30, okay if you’re an earlier riser but we weren’t. There was no warning of building works going on either to give you the option. Having said that, was really pleased with staying here and would definitely go back👍🏻

Tiny Room - adequate for a below average nights sleep.

    rating01 Dec 2024

Very good location with access to all the hot spots about town, plenty bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Staff were courteous and helpful when needed. I think we were in the smallest room in Rome, AC stopped working after the first night, windows were painted shut and never opened. Room could have done with a bit of a freshen up as it was looking tired. I am 182cm tall and my feet from the ankles down were off the bed, not comfortable. The main issue was the noise, outside cars and motorbikes, shouting and general city centre noise, then inside the corridors where staff and guests have no respect for keeping noise to a minimum. Wouldn’t stay here again.
