  Location ok, but staff and hotel terrible

  Hair and mould in the bathroom, old equipment, little space for things. We asked the hotel for luggage storage. The staff completely broke the suitcase that it was impossible to continue traveling with it. The manager refused to take any responsibility, did not even apologize and claimed that the suitcase was already in this condition, which is complete nonsense. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

  BEAWARE, YOU WILL BE CHAGED IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 11PMBroken Air conditioner, could not sleep whole night due to noise and was helpless as no customer support after 11PM.This is actually a shared unit where 2/3 rooms are being shared, IF you are after privacy that's only within your own room, other people will be within the unit.free breakfast fat away, not on site Tv standby led light pointed straight disturbing sleep as it’s too bright.   My room was very clean.. The bed was comfortable, staff was great.. I recommend this place.. The perfect stay, everything was amazing. The staff were incredibly nice, daily cleaning was absolutely great.. breakfast was ok.

  I booked this B&B and was quite happy with the service. My room was VERY clean as was the bathroom. The bathroom was very small without any room for a bidet. However, that wasn't a problem. The shower was elevated (at least in my room) so you had to step up to enter inside. I could see this as a probem for anyone with knee problems. During the early evening hours the shower water was shifting between cold and tepid. I needed to shower and get to my appointment, so I showered in cold water. When I returned and showered late night, the water was hot. I don't know if it's regulated to be hot during certain hours? My bed was comfortable, the room was nice and the guy at the reception was very cordial ad helpful. I left too early for breakfast but it isn't served in the structure. They give you a voucher to have breakfast at a bar that's near. The area is Piramide and across the street from the B&B is a Carrefour open 24/7. The train station is near and the area is filled with stores, restaurants and varie. I will definitely stay at Cleopatra again. P.s. I did pay a more expensive price for my room but I guess it was the timing.

  if the location was easier to find this would be 5 stars--literally a HIDDEN gem with zero signage

  I liked the hotel itself; it was clean, comfortable, close enough to the train and metro, near good restaurants. But I have to tell you it is VERY difficult to find because it completely lacks signage, and there is a cultural difference--it is a first floor apartment, but the Romans call the first floor the zero floor so it is a second story location, and when we were standing 10 feet from it, the helpful neighbors sent us to the wrong hotel several blocks away. to locate Cleopatra try this: It is a yellow apartment block visible from the Ostiense train station next to a park. As you go up the street there is a fruit vendor and then the building and then the park. Somehow get into the interior courtyard of that building. they are remodeling so there is some construction. go all the way around to the back of the courtyard. there is an unmarked hotel there that is not the Cleopatra but they have the keys to it and will let you in. The breakfast is in a bake shop on the same side of the street about 10 doors down.
