Location

The Hotel Club House is characterised by a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. It is set in a very quiet area of Rome, outside urban traffic. The hotel position close to the metro station makes this hotel the ideal place for sightseeing or for business travellers going to town. From here you can reach the main cultural, historical and archaeological sites of the capital: Saint Peter's Dome, Coliseum, the Roman Ruins (Fori Imperiali), the Piazza di Spagna, the Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano, the Trevi Fountain. The hotel is well connected also with a bus, which stop is at 100 m from the hotel itself. The Hotel is very close to the major clinics and hospitals of Rome as Policlinico Gemelli, Istituto Dermopatico dell'Immacolata, San Carlo de Nancy, the clinic San Raffaele, Hospital San Filippo Neri, and the paediatric hospital Bambin Gesù.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 108 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay.     Enjoyable stay, I’d highly recommend, easy to access city centre

    Our stay at Club House Roma was very enjoyable and we’d definitely return.We booked the Double Bed smart room which was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of wardrobe space, a television with a large amount of international channels, a safe which is free to use, mini Bar and a modern bathroom.The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and I would recommend grabbing a drink at the bar.I found this hotel to be a lot cheaper than other hotels in Rome and although it’s not situated right in the centre, I found the location to be perfect for us.Hotel is in a quiet street with many local authentic restaurants nearby.I’d recommend eating at Il Tamburello di Pulcinella if you want to stay local one night. The hotel is a five minute walk from the Cornelia Metro station which is Line A. From there you can access Cipro which is the station for the Vatican City is 5 minutes away. Spagna station for the Spanish Steps and Barberini which is the station for the Trevi Fountain are only 10 minutes away on the Metro. You can also travel to Termini which is a 20 minute train which gives you access to Line B where you can visit the Colosseum.     This hotel should not be classed as 4 star. It's quite run down and not that clean,the room we stayed in had a bad smell and was very dark and dreary. Stayed 3 nights on way to Florence.     We stayed for 7 nights, the room was okay, the cleaner came daily and replaced towels etc which was nice. We didn’t try the food so cannot comment on this. There was a bad smell of drains in the bathroom but we didn't report this to reception as we weren’t sure there would have been anything they could do about that.We had issues with a scheduled power outage of 5+ hours which we believe was poorly communicated and no compensation was offered, and my query is still ongoing.Friendly staff, nice lobby and close to the metro but our stay was a little tarnished by the power outage on our last day as we couldn’t charge phones etc or have a hot shower so lost a lot of the day Domenico Ceparano, Agenzia/Consulente at C-Hotels Club House, responded to this review Dear avocadoevie,Thank you for taking the time to share your review.     EasyJet offered this hotel for a weekend break to watch Italy v England rugby. Plenty of other supporters staying so felt comfortable. Breakfast excellent.
