  It is not the first time that I stay in this hotel, sincerely, apart from a little lack of cleanliness, all in all.... but what happened this time, I do not know who to attribute the happened. I had booked about twenty days before, through Agoda and as in all my reservations, I always insert strictly complete with breakfast. We go down for breakfast and the person in charge asks us for the room number and tells us that breakfast is not included, stuff you can't believe, I don't know by whom there was this sleight of hand "SIM SALABIM" It's years, decades that I book has never happened such a thing, by whom? The highlight was that there was not even a hint of collaboration in being able to contact those who paid for the structure... nothing. Finally, we had to make an espresso accompanied by a mini croissant, moreover paying more than usual, without taking into account the incredulous magic game that took place!   I booked and offered a 2 day stay to relatives passing through Rome to whom I particularly cared. I trusted this 4-star hotel, praised on the site, but I changed my mind. I fly over the room very dated, but clean. In the bathroom the drain did not work and nothing was done to fix nor was a room change proposed. In the evening, on return, I am told that the room was not made, bed undone and towels on the ground. Made known to the night porter who could only provide clean towels. In the morning, despite the apologies of the receptionist who apologized admitting that there had been a mistake on the part of the hotel, I find it unacceptable that these mishaps take place in a hotel with 4 same, moreover in the morning from 7 am a go-ahead of cleaning staff who spoke loudly in the corridors, is not tolerable. Nothing to say about the kindness of the staff, but given the embarrassing situation, the mishap, the discomfort suffered, in addition to the apology, could not perhaps offer a coffee?   THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!

  The worst and most infuriating experience I’ve ever had in all my years of touring—bar none. After a brutal 12-hour drive, I arrived at Hotel Imperatori only to have my backpack—with ALL of my musical equipment: laptop, interface, hard drive, headphones—stolen right from the hotel’s reception area. No secure space, no protocol, and absolutely no accountability. I filed a police report the next morning because the station was said to be closed at night, yet the hotel has refused to take any responsibility whatsoever. No compensation, no effort to resolve, just lies in an attempt to cover their asses when their cameras show everything that took place. This wasn’t just a bag—it was my work, my art, my livelihood. I’ve toured across countless cities and countries, and never have I experienced something so devastating and so carelessly handled. I will never return, and I strongly warn any touring artist or traveler: avoid this place at all costs. This is not just about bad service—it’s about complete disregard and a shocking level of indifference and negligence for people’s lives and livelihoods.

  Do not book this hotel if you want a decent stay. The only good thing about the hotel are the staff. Very friendly. But the rooms are a bit run down. If you’re coming as a couple you’ll probably have to ask for extra towels and pillows. The beds are rock hard. The air con works but you wouldn’t know. Noise from other rooms can be bad too. The area is very run down. Nothing around apart from a few shops. Getting to the centre of rome isn’t great either. Taxi costs too much and waiting for a bus and using metro takes time. You’re better off paying the extra money for a better hotel.

  The staff here were absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately that was the only plus point. Our room was in a state of disrepair. Buttons missing off light switches revealing live wires, bath fittings broken or missing, mould on the walls, paint peeling... I could go on but it's safe to say I won't be returning. Breakfast was cake, croissant or ham. Very poor too. 2/5 from me
