    Lovely short break

    Just left from a lovely 2 night stay at this hotel. We booked a superior double which was extremely spacious. The room was clean and warm and included tea and coffee making facilities.Staff were lovely and gave some good restaurant recommendations.Breakfast was buffet style had warm and cold options as well as different pastries.The location of this hotel was good there was It was not too much noise . We got transport to the Vatican museum for early morning entry then took a walk to the colosseum then back to the hotel. Sights were amazing even if my feet would disagree.There is also a mini market at the end of the street and some lovely eateries and a wine bar across the road.Would definatly come back again.

    My husband and I are currently staying at Domus Australia for our 7th wedding anniversary and, although our trip isn’t over yet, I already feel compelled to leave a review—this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.From the moment we arrived, the reception staff have been incredible—especially the lovely lady who greeted us on arrival (whose name I regretfully didn’t catch) who has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her warmth and professionalism set the tone for our stay.The staff in the rooftop restaurant are equally fantastic—kind, helpful, and always attentive. The food and atmosphere up there are just gorgeous.Our room is spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed, a spotless and modern bathroom, and more closet space than we’ve ever had in a hotel. It really feels like a home away from home.The location is ideal—peaceful, yet perfectly situated for exploring the city.We’re honestly so impressed and grateful to have found this gem. Can’t recommend it enough. We will never stay anywhere else on future visits to Rome.

    Best Hotel for visitors, very close to Main Train Terninal ( Termini ), staff and service are great, they can hold your bags if you have a later trip, very good breakfast, rooms are spacious, will stay here everytime I visit Rome. Great price, lots a places to eat close by

    Extremely Disappointed – Poor Service from Front Desk Staff Ruined Our Stay

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Domus Australia was deeply disappointing, primarily due to the front desk staff member named Corina. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable.The check-in process was unnecessarily unpleasant. Corina appeared irritated simply because we attempted to use the Wi-Fi before she mentioned it. More concerning, she failed to inform us that the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working—a major issue given the heat—and did not offer any apology or solution.When we inquired, she falsely claimed that the city of Rome had banned hotels from using air conditioning, which we later found out was untrue. Our concerns were brushed aside with constant “I don’t know” responses, and we had to get Hotels.com involved to receive compensation for the inconvenience.Asking about the laundry service led to further frustration. Although we had the manager’s approval, Corina flatly refused to provide the necessary coins and even mocked us for insisting. When she did provide coins, they were of the wrong denomination—something we felt was intentional.What made the situation worse was that she appeared warm and courteous to other guests. We couldn’t shake the feeling that we were being treated differently, and it raised concerns of racial discrimination. We were made to feel so uncomfortable that we avoided asking any more questions at the front desk altogether.Attempts to contact the manager during our stay were unsuccessful, leaving us feeling helpless and unheard. What should have been a pleasant stay in Rome was overshadowed by this unprofessional and, frankly, distressing treatment.I am posting this review in the hope that management takes this seriously and ensures no other guests are subjected to the same experience. Hospitality should be consistent and respectful to all—this was far from it. Domus Australia, Direttore generale at Domus Australia Roma, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback.     I’m sat here now my room and bed is over run with ants and there telling me they can’t change are room and if we are not happy to move hotel it’s 22:20 in the evening and they want us to go instead of solving the problem this is totally unacceptable yet to mention I am travel agen absolutely appalling Domus Australia, Direttore generale at Domus Australia Roma, responded to this review Dear Summer,We’re very sorry to read your review and that your experience did not meet expectations.
