  This was perfect!!!!! It was veery close to the Coliseum. Walking distance to restaurants. The staff was so very helpful and kind. They held my luggage the next day while I went on a tour. 9-10 Euros to go to the Coliseum by taxi. They even got a driver for me to be picked up at the airport (what a relief) and to take me to the cruise terminal. Both were very professional. I was thrilled. The room was small, but I didn't care, great location, great customer service, great sleep. Enjoyed it immensely. I highly recommend staying here.

  A guesthouse in Rome located at a walkable distance from the metro station. Had stayed here for a night and the room and the building in general was very clean and quiet. Room had basic amenities and was a comfortable stay. Staff was professional. Breakfast was good and included a lot of packaged items.

  A very clean and modern but basic hotel about no more than 10 minutes walk from Termini and less than five from the Vittorio Emanuele metro station,, this comes highly recommended for it price and the friendliness of the staff. We used it as a base when over in Rome for the VI Nations match and had no complaints about it. There are plenty coffee shops and restaurants in the vicinity which we used and were content with. It's also only five minutes from the Santa Maria Maggiore, a truly magnificent papal basillica which serves as the last resting place of Pope Francis and which is a must for a visit. Whilst we're not sure about our plans for 2028 yet, if we do go again and there's accommodation available for all our party, this will definitely be considered for our base again. Previous comments have been made around the safety about the lane it's in but we didn't notice anything of concern although we appreciate that lone females might be nervous as they would be in any lane.

  Stayed here a couple times. It’s really clean and very well run. Kind staff on the desk It has nice outside areas on the balconies and was quiet and restful Breakfast was fine. Lots of nice pastries and other varied things. Only criticism is the coffee. Which was awful. A slow nescaff machine as we call in UK. Also the stuff in the percolator was tepid and weak. Domus Helena is great value. And excellent location.

  GREAT VALUE BASIC HOTEL NEAR LOCAL TRANSPORT SITES

  This great friendly Hotel is tucked neatly away in a quiet side street that is only 15min walk to the Colosseum, 10min walk to local Metro Station and 15min walk to stop for the On/Off Big Red Bus that goes round the outskirts of the City to all the main sites. Run by a Catholic Order it is basic but the room we had was clean, beds comfortable, nice shower/ toilet room and quiet. The food is not massive for this breakfast only Hotel but quite adequate with cooked food, cereals, meats, pastries, small snack bars, fruits, fresh juices/coffee machine and bread. The staff were both very friendly and helpful and room was kept very clean. A perfect spot to get to transport in and around the City and walking distance to the Colosseum clinched it for us.
